I've only been camping once on my PCX, i took a 4 man dome tent which obviously takes up more room than necessary for just one person....was considering getting one of these popup things http://www.decathlon.co.uk/2-seconds-i- ... 91886.html the only trouble is how to secure it to the bike it being 55cm in diameter.
so does anyone have one and is it easily secured to the bike ?!

Re: TENTS!
Wow, that thing's REALLY cool...
Why do you have to secure it to the bike?
I use a Hennessey Hammock Expedition A-Sym: http://www.amazon.com/Hennessy-Hammock- ... 809&sr=8-2, and just secure it to 2 trees, leaving the bike to fend for itself.
The nice thing about the hammock tent is, it's 2lbs and folds smaller than my sleeping bag.

Re: TENTS!
Thats a cool looking thing but limits you to camping next to trees i guess...when i meant securing it to the bike i meant in transit not when setting up camp! Its just not going to fit in my topbox

Re: TENTS!
I would probably put the tent against the front part of the topbox (passenger back rest area) and throw a tie around the topbox to keep it secured.. It is a little awkward to carry on a bike.

Re: TENTS!
Oh, in transit... I'd probably do it the way Eddie said if I had a topbox, otherwise I'd use a cargo net and secure it to the passenger seat.

went for this instead http://www.decathlon.co.uk/bedrock-id_8173531.html nice and compact and only one pole so easy to setup...didnt like the idea of riding about with a silly looking big disc strapped to my PCX.
