flashing? the only time the fuel bars flash on mine is 7 miles into the last bar. Then I ran a total of 30 miles on that last bar before chickening out and fueling up. To run one dry is not advisable.sendler2112 wrote:First bar disappears on my 2013 when 1/4 of the tank is gone after about 40 miles. The next at 60 and the third bar flashes away at 80 miles leaving half the tank. The last bar starts flashing when there is 1/4 tank remaining.PCXade wrote:I have done about 45 miles since I picked up the new bike yesterday and only one bar has disappeared so far on the fuel gauge. Marvellous!

Re: 2015 MPG readout accurate?
I ran my 2013 PCX150 dry once carrying some extra gas in a pop bottle to verify the true fuel capacity which came out to 1.65 gallonsUS. The last bar starts flashing when there is .45 gallons remaining. Armed with this knowledge I am able to make two round trip commutes and 150 miles with 5-15 miles in reserve. Filling up every other day is time enough spent. I wouldn't want to have to fill up twice every three days.

It would be nice to have a fuel tank twice as big as the one that we have!!!sendler2112 wrote:I ran my 2013 PCX150 dry once carrying some extra gas in a pop bottle to verify the true fuel capacity which came out to 1.65 gallonsUS. Fortunately I can pay at the pump with a card. If I had to walk inside and stand in line every two days it would be a drag.

When Honda releases the new Forza 125 it will be great for those who drive lots of miles daily:
According to an Spanish motorbike magazine:
* Fuel consumption 2.29 l/100 (102.7 US mpg)
* 11.5 liters in fuel tank (3.03 gallons)
* 500km without refueling (310 miles)
