This rig has served me very well all summer. If you use iphone you will need an OtterBox belt clip to make this mount work. Does not require a power cord coming through the glove box door, rather the power cord runs down the column with the rest of your cabling then back up through the floor of the glove box for a clean professional finish. Your iphone will ride safe and quietly below your handle bar chrome and not become a towering accessory rivaling your mirrors easy breezy pumpkin queasy
parts include;
otterbox belt clip
rubber hover vac belt
usb power adaptor
3/4 auger bit

Of course the new iPhone will need a similar belt clip latch, I'm sure OtterBox will roll out a compatible product if they haven't all ready. I like OB products and have never had a phone sustain damage when equipped. They make good stuff

Nice install.
Personally, I want the time I'm riding the scoot to be one of the ever fewer moments where I'm not tethered to a phone. I'll throw it in the box under the seat and check it when I get to my destination.

Agreed, I touch for missed calls now and then at stop lights but never dial out or answer from the saddle. But for the iPhones GPS service... I can't find anything without it LOL.kcpcx wrote:Nice install.

Yeah, makes total sense for GPS, stupid of me not to have thought of that.
