Parked next to a Forza a new Forza at work, already scraped!

Saw my first Forza today (UK) rather than just posted pics, and parked next to it at work. It's fairly new being '14' plated (UK) and grey, but my surprise at seeing one and parking next to one turned to surprise at how banged up it already was!

The owner seems to have had a fall on the rhs with plastic fractured and a gap between some panels and the main body, scrapes/scratches all the way down the rhs, and the rhs grip showing signs of the fall. Must ride ok even though at first I thought it was just old and dirty rather than new and banged up.

Oh, that's not good. Quick fix iceman: Take a ride to local dealer and park next to a Forza there. That should wipe out the vision of the dropped one and give you an "ahhh moment"

Ouch man! Any idea what went wrong? I've barely got around 100 miles on mine and I'm hoping I don't ever take a tumble on it! Even after parking it I'm constantly paranoid that it's going to be knocked over... too bad we don't have any sliders available!

Even though I have two armoured jackets (textile) and a pair of armoured trousers, I've been riding with jeans (sometimes with rain proofs on) and a normal jacket and gloves on and off during the hot weather. I doubt the textile jacket armour and trousers would fully protect me falling at 20-40 in traffic on tarmac, but it would be better than what I have been wearing. It's ease of convenience but silly - I know, as I do not feel safe without the proper jacket and trousers.

Coming in to work this morning at 4am two drivers came close to me on purpose thinking it was funny - one came up behind me as we both turned left (I was indicating and then indicated and turned right a few yards on) and they came within a foot of me on a 2 lane road and then cut across and turned left, and then near work with a dual lane road, I was in the off-side lane riding in the middle of the lane and a driver speeding the other way saw me and cut across so half their car was almost over the line - I saw them and moved further towards the nearside lane. They then pulled over into the middle of their lane. I believe in both circumstances they thought it was funny rather than plain bad driving.

Oh, I think I have an idea .

Went up on a mountain road that's super narrow and very round. So when I took the left corner using a delayed apex line, my rear wheel slid off the road. I'm not 100% sure what happened after. First guess was that my PCX crushed my left leg, but looking at how the leg is positioned on the scooter, that doesn't seem too likely(plus I would think the plastic panels would break before the leg did). My other guess is that my boot caught on the gravel during the fall and simply kept twisting left until the bone broke, though I don't see any marks on the left boot to suggest that happened.

Ah, Valiant, now I remember you mentioning your fall at low speed - about 10mph and the PCX landing on top of you. Seems like very bad luck to be injured so badly at that speed. Hope recovery is going well.

Recovery is great. I can walk without the crutches, but I can only go about 20 feet before it starts to hurt. Doctor says it may have something to do with that metal rod they stuck in there .

Going back to work is the problem. Job requires a lot of heavy lifting(40 lbs boxes), and I'm on my feet all day. That, and about 5 people up and left(almost a third of my department), and my boss evidently doesn't have a clue why .

Yeah really. I look at some of the videos with a couple of shirtless bros popping wheelies, then eating the asphalt for a good 50 ft, and I wonder, "how does that feel on your bare skin?" >_<

Maybe follow them home, come join them next time they go out, bring your Hummer, then see if they think it's funny to be run off the road.
