Does this software offer the option of "ignoring" posters that one does not want to see?

Not if you arent a moderator.

Just use your selective vision. What do you use to censor the rest of the internet? i use ignorance myself <3
Old enough to know its a bad idea, young enough not to care

Fleet:
-08' Triumph Daytona 675 -(no org) #159
-05' Kawasaki KX65 -UMRA #677
-13' Honda PCX150
-10' Scion TC

I must only be faster than one person. Myself.

As far as I know, No.

"That" would certainly be a question to ask forum owner: Dave (maddiedog). You can.
Personally, I feel we are a young and happily growing forum. We seem to be getting along quite well (a few spotty exceptions of course, but we're only human). When our member numbers tally higher, it might Then be something to consider? My view anyway.
As for now? Why not chill, read past them/ignore them, and move on to enjoy the next one :P Simples.
Have to admit, I look rather crazy sometimes laughing out loud at my iPad, but it happens o_O and often!
Use "your built in ignore software," & you'll see what I mean ;)

Ban button was probably not the right phrase, but the question was fairly straightforward. Actually, according to the FAQ, there is a Friends and Foes area somewhere, but I have not found it yet. Thanks for the responses.

Or perhaps I should have phrased it "did not go unappreciated"? I'm getting in touch with my inner Brit...as an Asian ;) .

Pretty damn sad though, most forums have an "ignore" feature.

Gary seriously, why don't you pm maddiedog and ask him. He's the boss, the one you would get the answer from. I am aware of other forums having that option/feature, so it's not a crazy unheard of question. Hope you find out. :P

From the FAQ section:

What are my Friends and Foes lists?

You can use these lists to organise other members of the board. Members added to your friends list will be listed within your User Control Panel for quick access to see their online status and to send them private messages. Subject to template support, posts from these users may also be highlighted. If you add a user to your foes list, any posts they make will be hidden by default.

» How can I add / remove users to my Friends or Foes list?

You can add users to your list in two ways. Within each user’s profile, there is a link to add them to either your Friend or Foe list. Alternatively, from your User Control Panel, you can directly add users by entering their member name. You may also remove users from your list using the same page.
