ive just put 2.5 liters of diesel into my 2015 pcx when my gauge was showing empty. I havent started the engine and pushed the scooter home. I have a small hand pump and have managed to suck out 3 liters of fuel till I think it was empty. I put 1 liter of petrol in and shuck the bike around a bit and drained that out aswell. I have filled the bike up with 10 liters of petrol and took it out on a test run and it was absolutely fine. Is there anything else you would recommend me doing.
Thanks in advance I feel such a fool.

You poor thing, That is awful! Someone with good knowledge will advise soon. I got a feeling you did what was necessary. I will have to be mindful not to do that myself.

You're not the first member of this forum to diesel a PCX.....
Probably won't be the last either.

Four decades on two wheels has taught me nothing, all advice given is guaranteed to be wrong

Re: wrong Fuel used.
I am sure that you have diluted it enough that there shouldn't be a problem.

Good care taken to dilute the contaminant. The fuel itself will almost certainly cause no harm. However, your Diesel fuel may contain conditioners which may adhere to interior fuel delivery parts and should be cleaned. Recommend running a fuel system cleaner, such as Seafoam, for a couple of consecutive tanks as a precaution.

Re: wrong Fuel used.
You did exactly what was needed to fix it!
Should be no issues at all with what little diesel (if any) was left in the tank.
