Sad indeed. For all of racing, I know of only him and Mario Andretti, but to be felled on a ski run even while wearing a helmet, for all the danger he took on the courses... I do hope he pulls through. Seems like F1 depends greatly on him.

His driving made a difference. A huge one. You had to watch how his rivals went around corners and how he did, and if you knew a bit about driving you could see it. He was a couple of steps above. Not an example of sportsmanship in my opinion, but he was definitely a genius.

Hope he makes a full recovery. I really do.
