My modded Ruckus
I love my little Ruckus. It is so fun to ride and modify.
I'd like to fine a used PCX150 that I can use as a donor bike and put the engine in my Ruckus.

Nice bike, I have seen two running around Sioux Falls that are similar. How fast will it go?

Re: My modded Ruckus
When I got it stock, it would go about 38 mph. I have since modded the intake, exhaust and rejetted the carb. So, now it will go a whopping 44 mph!~Cheap_Ride~ wrote:Nice bike, I have seen two running around Sioux Falls that are similar. How fast will it go?
I have a lot of fun riding it though. I bought it to use as a pit vehicle at the track. It gets more attention than my drag race car.
I did want a bike that I could ride on roads with a speed limit of 50+, so that's why I recently added a Forza to the "stable."

No plans for a big bore kit? It looks like it would be all of a 30 minute job to swap the piston and head since the engine appears open on all sides. Is the exhaust loud?

No big bore kit. Folks have had too many problems with them. I'd prefer the PCX150 drivetrain swap.~Cheap_Ride~ wrote:No plans for a big bore kit? It looks like it would be all of a 30 minute job to swap the piston and head since the engine appears open on all sides. Is the exhaust loud?
The exhaust is not horribly loud, but louder than stock, especially at WOT.
