Re: Topic 1,000 !!
My PCX has just done 1,000 miles - still loving it but dreaming of a er6n or NC700X
Re: Topic 1,000 !!
I just hit 1,000 miles on my PCX the other day as well. I'd like to ride a 150 just to feel the difference in power, just out of curiosity as my 125 is plenty for the type of riding I use it for. I've been wanting to add a 3rd scooter to my collection, but something along the lines of a Vespa GTS300. The PCX is a keeper!

700x is in my top 3 next bikes to consider, as im thinking of doing my a2 licence soon.brains_t wrote:My PCX has just done 1,000 miles - still loving it but dreaming of a er6n or NC700X
think about the ninja 300 aswell only £4995 :O
Don't argue with an 18-wheeler.
Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handlebars to the seat.
Faster, faster, faster, until the thrill of speed overcomes the fear of death.

Re: Topic 1,000 !!
Five grand for a tweaked Ninja 250 is a joke.
You could get a decent used one for less than half that.

Been watching some you tube reviews. I hear the NC700s and x can be a challenge in some every day situations particularly were a quick burst of speed is needed to overtake 50-60 mph traffic (think getting away from lorries).
Been sitting on er6's this afternoon (and the Ninja 300 which seems like a toy compared - sorry just my opinion) and it looks like it will be a decision between the n(aked) or f(aired). I love the style of the er6n but the er6f would provide better protection for motorway journeys. I would use it for everyday commuting which the PCX can do fine so the only benefit of going bigger would be to do trips on faster roads hence my heart wants the er6n and my head the er6f.
Oh well, suppose I better book my DAS before I get any older and am still able to bribe the wife

Yep, opening the throttle is really difficult.brains_t wrote:I hear the NC700s and x can be a challenge in some every day situations particularly were a quick burst of speed is needed to overtake 50-60 mph traffic (think getting away from lorries)

Re: Topic 1,000 !!
Semi-related, we're 9 posts away from having more posts than ClubPCX!
That's cool, especially considering at least 20 or 30 posts on their site are spam (this si assuming PCX users aren't interested in "lone mountain trucking" or kitchen cabinets at the moment).
I'd also argue that the post quality here, on average, is much higher than there. Good stuff.
