At the beginning of the survey, it seemed like a nice gesture; they care about their customers. But by the end it was pretty clear they just wanted market info for their next advertising campaign.
Mostly multiple choice, but there were minimal lines here and there where a wordy answer was asked for. Kinda kills your enthusiasm when you recognize you’re just talking to the marketing department.
I’m supposing it was sent to us more recent 150 buyers.
But hey, it was a WHOLE DOLLAR! Makes me think maybe I should have bought a bike for my wife too! Then she could have got a dollar too! Talk about a kickback!!!
I answered the questions about the PCX but didn't answer the personal questions. Maybe they will ask for 50 cents back. This is the second such survey and dollar I received. Might as well send it in so they keep sending me those dollars.
Urbanian, I believe you're right I think PCX owners should draft up a survey. Something along these lines:
"So, how ya'll liking that humped saddle?" Or " How's that Missing clock working for ya?" Etc.
ABCD choices with no Wrong answers, just doesn't cut it!! We have a voice.....
We have a Voice......you can ask you you Or Gn2 that

In a business we used to own, we would occasionally survey current customers to learn what they most appreciated and where we could improve. The response ratio was always better when we included something to show our appreciation for their time. We did a crisp one dollar bill, but the best response was with a small desk calendar. To me, it isn't the value of the gift, but the fact that the business asking for survey answers understands that your time to respond has value.
These are not the first Hondas we have owned (car, quite a few motorcycles, three outboard motors, a snow-blower, a generator), and all but one outboard have been outstanding products. Honda simply makes good stuff. And, they understand their market. We can all find nits to pick, but the PCX is a quality scooter. I have made a lot of bigger purchases where the manufacturer never asked my opinion of the product or the sales experience.
It may just seem like a buck, but it is a bit of respect in doing business.
Your lucky you get anything. We get surveys sent where you can win something for entering, but there's little chance of that with the volume of surveys they send out.
Well we missed out on something. We got the survey but not the dollar! We were the first to buy a 150 here I think. We thought it was nice of them to ask our opinion, but then they didn't give us a place to tell them what needed improvement, except when they mentioned the seat we gave them bad marks.

I have the 125 and I too got the the survey along with the dollar bill. To be honest, I almost would have felt a little guilty to have spent the dollar and not filled out the survey. I figured they were nice enough to take the time to send me a crisp dollar bill, I could sacrifice a few minutes to fill out the simple survey and send it back to them. I was surprised as I had never gotten money with a survey. Suzuki has sent me 2 surveys so far for my Burgman, one shortly after I first bought it and now recently a second one for my thoughts after a year of ownership. Suzuki isn't as generous with their money...
