Re: How many miles do you have on your PCX
I've just carried out my first 12 month service on my 2018 PCX, and the mileage was 1605.
It's living in a garage with three other bikes of various sizes, so doesn't get used a lot of the time. At this rate, it should outlast me.

1605 in a year?? That poor bike. It hasn't been ridden enough to even break it in.

Re: How many miles do you have on your PCX
I don't think we will be putting many more miles on my wife's PCX 150, though it runs beautifully. I couldn't ask for a better bike, except when we had to replace that clutch bearing. I think hers was one of the first ones reported on this forum. Since that time though, it has run great.
13,401 miles. New MCG tires, oil just changed, tall Givi windshield, custom seat, upgrades??...just about every upgrade you could think of. With nothing else left to do on it, I even waxed it, again. I feel sad about it, but we will wait until next riding season to sell it because this one must be getting close to its end, though the weather has been extra hot lately.
Here it is...such a pretty thing.

That’s a shame. I might be in the same boat with my wife’s. Can’t justify it for a couple of rides a year.
Basement is huge.

Re: How many miles do you have on your PCX
My basement is big enough that I can put both bikes in it in the winter and still have plenty of room to get to my computer work area on one side and my work bench on the other...it is half of the length of the house (three bedrooms and two full bathrooms above it...about 900 sq. ft.)

Re: How many miles do you have on your PCX
I have my pcx now exactly two years, at this moment the odometer says 15000 km or around 9300 miles. Will be adding around 8000 km each year as I now use it every day for my commute. Plus maybe another 2000 km a year because I simply love riding it for fun, I sometimes come up with reasons just to take it out during the weekends.

THAT is the best reason to own a PCX. It is great on gas miles and it is a Honda, so it is dependable, but in the end if you don't like to ride it just for the fun of it, you may as well buy one of those Chinese junk scooters.

Re: How many miles do you have on your PCX
Hey Mel, I am in the market for a 13 150. How much would you be selling for? What extra maintenance do the Nyc goodies involve, I live in Seattle.

Re: How many miles do you have on your PCX
87112,
There isnt reallyanything extra in the way of maintenance to do after installing the NCY variator etc, except that once your belt has 5,000 miles on it your top end will start dropping. That is normal wear. When you change out your belt, look at the rollers to make sure they are still good. This would be standard practice anyway. While the teflon may wear on the variator it will still function the same.
There isn't much if anything that has to be done on my wife's bike, but I dont know how you would be able to get this PCX all the way to Seattle, unless you did like one of our members just did. He rode his PCX from New Jersey all the way to California. This one could do it. It just a long ride for anyone. The farthest we have ridden has been a 5 state run in one day (Georgia to Alabama, to Tennessee to North Carolina to South Carolina and back home.) We did it just to see if we could. It was fun. Still, I can't imagine riding from Atlanta, Georgia to Seattle, Washington...maybe when I was younger. 73 is just too old to do long trips any more.
As far as price, considering all that has been done on this bike, we are thinking $2200. The belt was changed 3,000 miles ago. The oil was changed last week.

Re: How many miles do you have on your PCX
I would have it shipped. I test rode a couple of 2nd gen 150s and enjoy the 1st gen more. Snappier off the line feel and feels sportier overall. I missed out on a mint 13 a month ago all over 150 bucks. Now the search begins again.
