I bought a very slighty used 2016 PCX 150 with 13 miles on it and I am going break it in using the motoman method. Just had a quick question. I am going to change the oil at 60 miles and put in Valvoline 10 w 40 Petroleum Car Oil until about 1,500 miles. Then probably switch to synthetic. Is that an acceptable non synthetic oil to use for the pcx. Thanks! Also if that oil isn't ok, what is a non synthetic oil I can use for the pcx for the first 1500 miles.
Also I don't really want to get in a debate about traditional break in vs motoman method. I am more of just looking for a non synthetic oil recommendation for the first 1500 miles. Thank you also here is the method I am talking about. http://www.mototuneusa.com/break_in_secrets.htm

Get the slippy kind of oil, the sticky stuff is no good.
Four decades on two wheels has taught me nothing, all advice given is guaranteed to be wrong
Re: Quick question about motoman break in method
I'd follow the lubricant recommendations found in your Honda owner's manual.
But then I'm not a conspiracy theorist.

Best non synthetic oil Valvoline , Castrol, or any top quality engine oil rated SG or higher do not use energy conserving oils. Use 10w-30. Use HONDA break in methods only, but does it really need it(break in ) ?????????? Change all oils after first 500 miles (optional) .
