I wonder how many turtles in the road are the cause of bikers going off. I think this is the first time I've ever given it any thought :)

The other day when I was out riding a forest road on my KLR I came across a young snapping turtle near a pond. So I went through a deep puddle so as not to disturb him sunning himself. :lol:

I could imagine hitting a box turtle might give a scooter a challenge that a pot hole might not. Apparently squirrel is survivable.
