Re: Termoscud or trousers?
i wear trousers and they have thermal lining.
The termoscud things work for people who wear normal clothes undernearth but trousers i would say give you warmth and more importantly protection.
Any good trousers with an inner lining should keep you warm enough.

I wear snowboarding / skiing pants over my normal pants... Er, trousers. Same thing.
Anyways, if I could get one cheap, I'd use a thermoscud. They're much better for keeping you warm than pants.

Re: Termoscud or trousers?

Re: Termoscud or trousers?
I commute long distance everyday so protection is important in the crazy city. If you fall, that cover won't protect you at all, if you get proper bike trousers then your Covered, in the summer you can risk it I guess.
I still use my biker gear, will be getting more casual looking gear during Christmas but trousers for me, don't need to fiddle with the cover

I tuck my trolleys into my socks then put on my Hein Gericke Boost pants.
Thermal liners due to be put back in, the temperature has gone south.

Re: Termoscud or trousers?
So which trousers would you recomend for winter? Casual look and warm.
Here are offer from german shop http://tinyurl.com/cp3tajb
Which would you choose? Remember. It's 2-8 deg Celsius in Poland now. Now I use skiing trousers, but they're not warm enough.

Re: Termoscud or trousers?
i wear long underwear, whatever normal pants i want, and Aerostich Darien goretex overpants. works for me.
i was considering trying a Termoscud but was concerned that the rain might run down my jacket inside the termoscud and get me wet. comments from Termoscud users please?
