On vacation, missing my PCX

Post by Smaug »

I'm currently down in Gatlinburg Tennessee. We have taken a few day trips in the Smoky Mountains, and they have these tight, twisty, hilly roads here. My car is a Honda Accord EX stick shift, and I have a really nice set of sporty All Season BFGoodrich tires on it. It is doing really well, but still I can't help but miss my little scooter which would be perfect! The top safe speed in some areas is 20 miles per hour. The fastest I could go was about 40.

Too bad it's a 600-mile drive down here or I would come back next week on my scooter! Maybe I'll make a pilgrimage trip out of it sometime. Anyone care to join me? Instead of one long day's drive in the Accord at 80 miles per hour, I would do two long days' drive at 60 miles per hour.

Or maybe get a small trailer for The Accord?

You can rent a scoot for the day from any number of services. When I was in Maui it was on my list to ride the north cliffs. Best part of the vacation was the solo ride through the cliff side marijuana and hog farms. PS Pick a good scoot and don't break down and wonder into areas you ought not be nosing or you might become hog food

A quick search didn't unveil anything current nearby, just a place with bad reviews that is closed.
