I saw somewhere that there is a small plastic tool with a hook on it. I didn't receive this tool with my 2016 as I bought it with 500 mi on it. Possibly this tool only works on newer models? I am not familiar with the 2013 model.

Knock on wood I've never stranded myself due to a misplaced or lost key but I have had some fun trying to ride a bike home with a broken clutch cable a few times. . .it's all about the rolling start.
I've done that a few times too. Doesn't half keep you on your toes.
