Guy at the dealership today told me that Yamalube Spray Polish is the best ever. It'll keep the chrome rust free, *and* it'll clean the plastic, mirrors, windshield, painted metal, etc.
This stuff will do it all, apparently. I'd like to wipe the whole bike down tonight before it's supposed to rain tomorrow. This isn't a bad idea, is it?

If I didn't know any better, I'd say this stuff is repackaged wd-40.
Nah.... I know it's a little bit different, but not a lot??

Changed out the gear oil with 85W-140 weight Wolf's Head in my Roughhouse today. . .90ml. . .used a 10ml syringe 9 times. Couldn't see any grit in the drained oil. Always seems like less comes out than I put in. Optical illusion I think.Guy at the dealership today told me that Yamalube Spray Polish is the best ever. Anyhow. . .after that I used S100 spray cleaner to wash the winter grime and residue off. Did a nice job. Can't let it dry though or bake in the sun. Have to work fast with the stuff and use the jet setting on a hose for more pressure. Avoid electrical or sensitive areas.

I just have used the regular cleaner that you spray on and hose off. Good for a quick job but if you really want to spend the time to detail then you'll have to put off the ride for a little longer.
