Re: One year ago......

I have had my 150 not even 2 months yet, and drive it pretty much daily to work. I am at the 600 mile mark, and just realized the other day my front tire was a little low on air. I drive a 55mph commute with many hills, and I weigh 195 plus gear. I was getting 74mpg. I will see if the tire pressure ...

Re: Hi Visibiliy and being seen!!

I have the hi-vis neon yellow helmet, and jacket. I installed the back off brake modulator, and also have (not yet installed) neon yellow led body lights...I ride to work in daylight, and home in dark. So far no real close calls, but it is crucial to expect every intersection to have an idiot who is...

Re: what trousers do you wear?

Think I'll use the term "Trousers" next time I go into the "Redneck Country" Diamond Gusset Jeans Store in Lynchburg, Tennessee.......I'll see how that program goes..... ;) That's funny, I don't care who you are! I LIVE in west GA, so "trousers" would get some st...

Re: Increasing mpg with each fill up?

I ran out of gas the other night- didnt realize when the last bar starts blinking, I only have about 15 miles to go. I calculated and I only got 74 mpg. I drive 17 miles each way to work and it includes hills, and is all 55mph. I weigh with gear about 205-210. I have not had its first service yet, s...

Is this for the PCX 150? If so, then does it state that the connector is an H5 style? The one I bought is an H4, so may have to exchange.

Re: Headlight Modulator

I appreciate the feedback. They are legal in GA. It has a light sensor, so only works in daylight- not night, which would be illegal. It doesn't draw any more current, only oscillates from a bright to dim shine. I will put pics of the Modulator- it is from Signal Dynamics and I got the dual harness ...

Re: Increasing mpg with each fill up?

Ok, I hope to share some information here. First thing- mpg. You dont have to run your tank dry each time to know what your mpg is. Fill up, then ride and when you fill up next time, take the gas it takes to re-fill and divide that by the miles you drove since last fill up. That simple. Second, when...

Re: Poll: Are you a leg over person?

When the Mrs joins me, because she is shorter and can't lift her leg over the seat between me and the box, she steps on the right foot peg (close to the pinion) with her right foot, stands almost vertical, then slips her left leg between me and the box. If you dont mind my asking, what is the total...

Re: Fuel type in us

I have only filled up once (fairly new to 2 wheeling), and got regular (10% ethanol)- before I read MOM (Manufacturer's Operator's Manual), and it said up to 10% Ethanol ok, and recommends 91 octane. So I don't know if there is an agreement with auto makers and gas companies to try to push the highe...

Headlight Modulator

I bought a headlight modulator, which requires you to unplug the headlights and then plug this modulator in between the plug and the headlight, but I cannot get to the back to the headlight very well, and cannot figure out how exactly to do this. Any help would be great, I called the dealership and ...
