Re: Tire size purchase problems?
I'm late to the conversation here. But the newer PCXs come with 110/70/14 front, 130/70/13 rear as OEM sizes. The rear tire @ 130/70/17 is readily available in Michelin and Pirelli offerings. Michelin doesn't seem to make the 110/70/14 in the City Grip. The Pirelli's website lists a Pirelli Angel av...

Re: 2025 Honda PCX 160 US model
I like that color a bit more than my "matte brown/gray". Very nice! Congrats on the new scoot! Does it have a physical key or is it now fob operated? I've yet to see one in person. I'm mixed on the color. I do like metallic in the paint, and the gray is a really popular auto color now. I'...

Re: 2025 US model PCX - phone mount
The new 2025 model I purchased looks very nice as they have covered all wires with a plastic cover in the handle bar. But this has opened up a new problem - there is no handle bar exposed to install a phone mount. Please please - if anyone knows of any contraption that would circumvent this issue.....

Re: 2025 Honda PCX 160 US model
Will someone please tell me what the magic words or secret handshakes are to post photos? I have them save as images/photos on my laptop. I had no problems posting them to another rider's Forum. But I'm unable to unlock the process on here. Help would be appreciated. And try to keep it simple for a ...

Re: 2025 Honda PCX 160 US model
I am almost decided to trade in my 2021 PCX for the 2025 - just so that I can get the 6-year Honda warranty extension. My son rides this in college and I need trouble free riding for him. I know these scooters - just about nothing goes wrong but I need some peace of mind. The dealer told me he has ...

Re: PCX2025 with upgraded rear shocks
I still wanna see a 2025 model but I'm happy with my 2023. Now if Honda brings the Giorgio step-thru model to the US I'll trade in towards tha5 step-thru model. I'm not opposed to the rear drums either. Like you said, simple and efficient, and plenty capable to stop a 300# scoot. The handlebar cove...

Re: PCX2025 with upgraded rear shocks
This conversation is a bit odd to me. I placed a deposit on a 2025 Honda PCX a month ago just picked it up from my local Honda dealer less than a week ago. It definitely has the traditional coil springs and, as expected, still has tear drum brake. Maybe Honda reserves the upgrades for other markets....

Re: 2025 Honda PCX 160 US model
I placed a deposit on a 2025 PCX this morning. It has an ETA of 5/21/25.
I'm hoping the 'pearl gray' looks decent.
No matter I guess since it's the only color available in the US.

Re: PCX wouldn't start
The 2014 PCX is fuel-injected, so the scoot shouldn't really be "flooded" since it has no carburetor. What I'm proposing may or not apply to your scoot... but it's all I can think of. Many bikes have a "disable switch" that will activate in the event a bike ends on its side in an...

That looks good. I like the size. How well does it work and do those lower sweeping wings provide any wind deflection off the hands?

Pictures of the windscreen and rear box would be great... (The case's mounting bracket with and without case, please).

Re: Drive belt
I'd be more concerned with what brand belt it is. And who the "seller" is on Amazon or Ebay.
If it's a reputable brand it can still be pirated and misrepresented, and if the cost is considerably lower than one you could buy from a reputable motorcycle vendor.... it probably is.

Re: Bought a new left-over 2023 PCX today!
Simple is always better with me. That's one of the reasons I've been looking into the Genuine scoots. Given the price and performance, the Buddy 125 may just be the best deal of the bunch, so I look forward to your review. I've done a good bit of lurking on the Modern Buddy Forum comparing opinions ...

Re: Bought a new left-over 2023 PCX today!
Nice catch on a new 2023 model. I've been looking at both the Genuine Buddy 170i and the Hooligan 170i along with the PCX160. I'm not a big fan of the looks of the ADV160, but that's personal preference only. I'm too old to even pretend to be an "adventure" rider. How about keeping us info...

Re: 2021 PCX/A Service manual availability?
Per the 2024 Honda PCX 160's Owner's Manual, HelmInc is Honda's preferred vendor for service manuals. From experience, I can tell you that an authorized Suzuki Service Manual (in paper) is almost double that of the PCX's... and mine has paid for itself. Pick any basic maintenance or repair chore on ...

Re: PCX2025 with upgraded rear shocks
I've been unable to get any info on the 2025 US models. No definite dates available, colors, changes... nothing. Since there are still '23 and '24 models still on some showrooms, there probably won't info until Honda releases the 2025s to its dealers and announces them on the web site. Plenty of 202...

Re: Transmission making clickity noise after replacing CVT belt and got transmission cleaned at dealer
There may not be a problem. But any time there appears a "new problem/noise/feel" after a service I always suspect something was left amiss during the work performed. If it were my scoot, I'd take it back to the dealer just in case. If they give you the good to go, so be it. But at least t...
