Re: 1000 miles on a pcx in 24hr
I did a 1,032 mile ride in 23 hrs 8 minutes last fall on my 2019 PCX. Got the ride certified by the Iron Butt Association and earned the Scooter 1000 Gold (the patch I got from the IBA is my profile picture). My time included stopping for 40 minutes to help a lady change a tire on her minivan. I had...

Re: Excessive Wind Noise Help
I got these ear plugs recently and love them for my scooter and motorcycle. I can hear my in-helmet comms well and kill the wind noise.

Re: How big a top box do you like?
I use the Givi 34 liter. I really like it and adding the light kit along with a Skene Tail/Brake Light Controller give me great visibility.
I think anything around the size you're talking about is a good size and adds a lot of functionality.

Re: 2016 Honda PCX 150 valve adjustment
I'm on cappra's side on this one. If the service manual says to do a maintenance item I am going to do it. I don't like taking chances, and as an added bonus, each maintenance item I do teaches me more about my scoot. This could come in handy when I do the Scooter Cannonball Run in 2023

Power-full, I really appreciate the detailed information that you put into your posts! It is all very well documented. A BBK is not something that I am considering at the moment but I will definitely come to you for help if I ever do. I also like your home country. I spent a week in Portugal at the ...

First Ride of 2022
Hello all, The weather popped up above 40 F for a little bit today so I took my motorcycle and my PCX for short rides. It was still pretty chilly and as you can see we still have some snow on the ground. I was wearing my Klim Carlsbad pants and jacket so I was plenty warm. It was great to get out on...

Re: Yasuni exhaust compatibility 2017 - 2019
The Honda part number for the mufflers are the same for ABS or non-ABS. I can't see any reason that the exhaust would be impacted by having ABS fitted.
Good luck!

Re: Tires and age of tires
As a general rule, you should set the pressure in accordance with the sticker under the seat. I believe that the 2015 is 29 front and 33 rear (36 with a passenger). Some deviate a little bit based on load or desired ride, but I will never go below the number on the sticker under the seat. MAX pressu...

Scooter rides in Idaho
Anyone in Idaho want to get together and ride? I've got a PCX but I joined the Vespa Club of Idaho because it was the only scooter group around and they "welcome everybody". In reality, not so much...but that's another story. Anyone interested?

Kilgor, Glad I could help a bit. I'll try to answer your questions: -I mounted the light to the reflector bracket that is already on the fork. I just removed the reflector and used the T1 front mount bracket. The holes in it were the perfect size. Fork 3.jpg Fork 4.jpg -I chose the Photon Blasters f...

Thanks ConeLite,
I didn't stop and sleep, just brief stops for fuel and a bite to eat. I didn't want to take time to order food so I took everything in a little soft cooler in my top box.
