Re: BRRRRRRR.....

I FINALLY got my refund for the windscreen RED Racing never sent. So now I’m shopping again. There seems to be a lot of complaints against Same Same, but most of them appear to have ultimately resolved. So with some trepidation I tried to order from them. No go. They say my address doesn’t exist. I ...

Re: vespa

linky Sliding a bit off topic here,… The 4-stroke Star sells for 25% more than the 2-stroke. There are nearly zero 2-stroke scooters for sale in the US anymore (pollution and noise), so I have very little knowledge in 2-stroke engines other than what I know about power garden tools. In the low budg...

Re: First ride on my PCX....

something even more ludicrous... It's called a "Diverging Diamond Interchange." Hey, we've got one of those! It caused general panic when they announced it was going in, but it works quite well; I think due to all the landscape/hardscape installed with it. You can't really see where to go...

Be patient. He said he will be buying the Forza soon. Hopefully he will go to a different forum then, and take his sourness with him.

Re: PCX ?

Service manuals in many cars suggest shorter service intervals if the car is driven under severe or adverse conditions: dusty roads, frequent short trips, heavy loads, extreme temperatures, pulling trailers, excessive idling, etc… Any prolonged use that wears the engine more than the odometer reflec...

Re: Trousers for very short riders!

Forgive my ignorance of how your pants are constructed... Is the armor removable? If so, it should be fairly easy to move the pocket that holds the armor. Additionally, if the pants are too baggy or floppy, and don't hold the armor in place in an emergency, the pants can be tapered to give you a clo...

Re: Trousers for very short riders!

A tailor can shorten them and move the knee armor up for you.

If the tailor doesn't think he can move the armor, check with an upholsterer or cobbler or luggage repair

Re: PCX 300...?

Honda seems to be on the right track. In the US we had the Sh150 that sold for ~$4500. Just a couple years later they are selling the PCX150, a better bike, for $1K less. If the 300 gets such good MPG I expect it will be a bargain in many ways. Way to go Honda!

Re: Hello all! New PCX owner with couple of questions! :)

Congrats on the new bike! She’s beautiful. Looks like you could drive an anchor into the ground in the gravel to fasten down your chain. When you vacate the apartment, you can abandon the anchor, and sweep the gravel back over it if it is low enough. Or the landlord may not object to a more conspicu...

she's been renewing her permit over and over for the past two years. Seriously I've wondered how many people are doing that. ;) Why not? The main reason I got my license is so my wife will ride with me. She hated that I hadn't taken the test yet, and wouldn't come near the bike until I proved...

I have just spoken to a friend of my Wife's who said he would be happy to ride my PCX over to the CBT location for me, Glad to hear it! Is there any place you can practice on your PCX before testing again? In my state if you already have an automobile license and you take the written test, they iss...

Re: godamnit... I just 'failed' my CBT! :(

Sorry for your misfortune. Why don’t you wait until you can take your PCX down there for the test? You’d save a bunch of cash, and could show your skills on the bike you are familiar with and enjoy riding. Too bad you can’t come take your test here. My work schedule prevents me from the training ses...

BRRRRRRR.....

The first of October I ordered a Givi screen. Shortly I received an email saying they were backordered, and I would have to wait at least three weeks, but it could be longer; they didn’t know… So I cancelled the order and went elsewhere Found Ermax +25 at “RED Racing Parts”. Their website promised f...

It's an accessory that can be convenient at times. Do the math. Don’t waste effort arguing with gn2. He just thinks he looks super...

Re: Hello all! New PCX owner with couple of questions! :)

Good advice from Urbanian (UK applicable bits :D ) I do that too..steering lock on, cover the keyhole...all extra hassle for me to start the bike, but a good nights sleep by protecting my investment from the opportunist chav. Oh yep, the Termoscud Apron I now have on it is an extra problem for them...

Re: Hello all! New PCX owner with couple of questions! :)

In addition to what everyone else said, there are a number of small things you can do every time you park your bike anywhere to frustrate would-be thieves. Use your ignition keyhole cover. Lock the steering to the side. Hard to push a bike that’s making a hard right (or left) turn. Set the parking b...

I’m satisfied with the stock headlights for road illumination. If I add lights it will be for BIKE illumination. I want everyone to see ME!
