It's also a piece of code that collects the forum posts and adds them to their databases.

Re: Weird Winter Riding Weather

Don't talk to me about floods :x It's been an adventure. Yes, I heard that you guys were having some serious challenges. We had a whole lot of rain over a couple of days and then some poorly maintained dams broke. Fortunately I live on higher ground, but near my house... DBM57XeXSIk One of those is...

Re: Weird Winter Riding Weather

Sorry about your Mom, WhiteNoise, but glad if she's getting better. I'd heard about the El Nino thing, Honkerman. We had huge floods here in early October and haven't dried out since (and it's getting really, really old). I've been riding in it. Even with the lap blanket, I'm hating the 90+ % humidi...

You'll need to be a bit careful at first, they fly like sparks compared to heavier bikes.

Wow, nice looking bike!

And it's well protected from the likes of me, with a low-position seat height of 33.5"
(which they probably consider a feature ;) )

Re: Taking your test. Or not.

If you have short legs (like me) those MP3s are actually very easy to drop,
because it's not really practical to lock the wheels every time one stops
and to reach the ground, that puts a bit too much of a lean on quite a heavy beast.

Those are slick and much more of a sporty look.
The stock mirrors strike me as girl eyes and lashes would take them to a very strange look.

I'll be interested in hearing how your new ones work in traffic.

Re: Well Here It Finally Is - A Honda Adventure Touring Scoo

Surely scooters and off road bikes are completely opposite types of bikes? Around here the Honda Ruckus is very popular as a dirt bike, but it doesn't look like they sell them in the UK (and maybe they used to call them the Zoomer there?) So I suppose they're thinking of upscaling the Ruckus... Any...

Re: More reasons to love the PCX

The problem was trying to brake or turn (never mind both) on PA gravel. I've tried this myself and the result was similar, although the well armored, way ugly guy's motorcycle jacket I was wearing saved me from breaking anything. What did the ugly guy say when you returned it? :) It was fully depre...

Re: More reasons to love the PCX

Heh, be careful with that. One of the reasons I went down two weeks back was fork dive, which contributed to the front wheel locking. The gravel on the road didnt help matters, but yeah, don't push it too much. Fork dive should contribute the the front tyre gripping more if you are breaking in a st...

Your system is different over there. Is a CBT like a learner's permit?

Re: More reasons to love the PCX

Just one bit of advice. Try to avoid putting diesel in. The bikes are quite fussy about stuff like that. I went to my local garage the other day and used a different pump and the different types of fuel were arranged in a different order to the one I normally use, fuck knows why, and I nearly ended...
