Re: MPG

The Forza computer says its getting 64.8 mpg in my mostly around town riding. Regarding the mechanical issues I've had the fuel pump replacement, oil light sensor switch (twice) and an oil leak from the 1st sensor switch repair, all were warranty, but still a pain. Running fine at the moment (2,300 ...

Re: Traded my Forza for one of these

Indeed a beautiful scooter. I have been considering buying one. Seems like just the thing for long distance perhaps with a topbox. What are your riding impressions to date? How about a first hand review for us Forza folks considering the Big Burg?

Re: cool old $37K Honda

Wow - I rebuilt this 1972 CL350 a couple of years ago, rode it awhile and sold it for what I had in it. It was a barn find so that wasn't too much. Some of the parts had to be scrounged from ebay and the biggest expense were fork parts and mufflers.

Re: Why not an easy bolt on topbox?

I figured out a simple way to save myself a lot of time and money. I pulled the canvas cover back off my Forza, took a long look at the pretty red scooter and said to myself, man that scooter looks just great without a topbox on it! :D As Sly and the Family Stone sang, "different strokes for di...

Re: Obserations Forza 300

I agree also, good summary observations. I like my Forza especially for these 90 degree days in town or where my bike is too hot. I think the stock windshield is cooler and I like the look better. The smaller wheels and relitively light weight make the Forza feel more twitchy and less stable to me a...

Re: New member

Welcome Jockay from the USA. I haven't been in the forum very long myself. I've been riding for years and currently ride a 2014 Forza and a big old American motorcycle. I enjoy them both for different riding experiences. Glad to have you aboard. Look forward to your posts.

Re: Can You Do This On Your PCX? :-)

Awesome, brings back a lot of memories. Growing up as a boy in a very rural area, whatever bike you happen to have it was an everything bike. Road bike, dirt-bike etc. we rode trials, hills, pasture fields and creeks. There was a lot more open land and less people around 50 years ago. With the bikes...

Just a note of thanks for the great job you do on keeping this forum on topic and subject. Many of us have strong opinions on other subjects such as politics (don't get me started), but this is a bike forum not another form of Twitter, Facebook, etc. etc. The fastest way to end a forum is when pers...

Is that a Vespa car? A guy in our town has one. The only one I have ever seen. He and his wife drive it to eat downtown on weekends.

Re: if I wanted a bigger bike today...

Way to go on getting approval. If my wife wouldn't strangle me I would probably have several bikes. Glad to hear you're going to be OK, I'll glad to hear you're going to be OK. I know what you mean with the health concerns. In 2003 I purchased a new Superglide. I rode it and usually another smaller ...

Re: if I wanted a bigger bike today...

I think your pick for moving up to a bigger bike is excellent. That size is very easy to transition to. Low seat height and not too heavy. Middleweight cruisers are a sweet spot in motorcycles that can do just about everything well. The downside of these things is that they cover so much ground its ...

Last post: I apologize for my part in any argument. I regret letting myself be sucked into immature debates, but it is what it is. The bias and animosity in this forum amazes me, I get it now. In hindsight I should not have logged back in after learning how many here feel. Its your forum. Thanks to ...

Re: My Other Bike

Kinda sounds like you're saying Scotland's most illustrious contribution to the motorcycle industry's is some connection to the family that started Harley Davidson! How can you ever bear the shame?

Re: My Other Bike

perhaps you can share with the readers the illustrious achievements of the Scottish motorcycle industry? Arthur Davidson was a Scot. Ergo there would be no Harley Davidson without Scotland. (and Harley was English) Also Triumph, often regarded as a Great British Brand was founded by two Germa...

I assumed the "and a" in the sentence made it clear enough, but I will clarify for you since we are devolving into silly. BMW is German, the bike was an older 1200 touring model. BMW I have been told Kymco of China is making engines for a couple of BMW bikes these days. Forgive apparently...

Re: My Other Bike

Why all the ugly? Most motorcyclists in most of the world just can't abide Harleys. Simple as that. Ok. you go ahead and be ugly, it appears you like to do that. Even though it makes no sense, to make you happy I will agree that American motorcycles are terrible and Harley has survived since 1903, ...

Re: My Other Bike

I came to the forum to learn about new scooters from you folks who have tried them for awhile. Look fellas all I did was post a photo of my other bike in the other bike section. I have no idea why some feel the compulsion to attack, criticize or degrade. If somebody posts a photo of a Zundapp, a Bri...

Re: My Other Bike

Here is one of my former bikes I sold about a year ago. I rescued it from a barn, rebuilt some stuff and cleaned it up. Wish I still had it but don't have room for everything.
