Re: Seat scratches easily with shoes
I Messed up a gelcoat and a vinyl bolster surface using mr clean erasers...be careful, you scrub with them, and you'll scratch. Detailing sites claim mr eraser is equiv to 3600 wet dry paper.

Here's a product that just cleared Kickstarter and works well.not much to write, this guy said it all https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=nTvhUWkd_ig Calibration is easy and note it needs a switched power source. I mounted straight to the batt with a DRL module that supplies power only when running. No OE...

Re: How long have you been scooting?
Less than a month here.....but all my life with motorcycles....18 years with Honda , BMW & Kawasaki corporate. Retired now, and here everyone owns golf carts to get around , how boring!
Love the scoot, so much fun for neighborhood trips.....and faster than a golf cart!

Re: New PCX today!
Hmm, so probably no go for coating mirrors with that stuff? I'd imagine it would make it easier to clean. Contrary to the claims, Plexus doesn't seem to repel much of anything including hard water stains. The backs of the mirrors sure, just not the glass. Xpel film on the mirror backs if youre in i...

Re: New PCX today!
Thx!
Coating is simple to do, i coat a lot of items, lowers are coated here as well. But this shield, for clarity, will get just polymer seal. Cquartz warns against application for things you look thru. I see myself switching shields for seasons its so easy.

GIVI
beautiful day, rode all morning and just mounted the GIVI D1136ST from Revzilla. A few notes: 1. Be very careful with the black coating inside - it will scratch just looking at it. If it gets bad, I’ll flat black it later. 2. Mounting is simple, no surprises, pull grill forward, pop off 10mm’s for t...

Sena SMH10R Helmet Headset
Just a short note about the SENA SMH10R Bluetooth headphone stereo system. I installed it today in 25 minutes. I put this in my helmet to get directions from my GPS, not so much for music. However tunes sound great, with solid lows. Speakers are large, high-quality and fit in the sockets created by ...

Re: Scooter sales in the USA going down fast
As said above, the largest contributing factor is gas being cheap. When gas goes back up and even higher than its been, scoots, hybrids and elec vehicles will go back up. We are seeing same thing in the car industry for gas miser vehicles. Gas hog Big engine cars like the new corvette, BMW M4, muscl...

Re: How-To: Oil Change For Honda PCX
Don't get over concerned about rounding the bolt. Take your time and use the proper socket and it will work fine. Just because you read it once does not mean they all do that. I'll be home in a day and will copy the shop manual pic of the screen for you and post here.
