Re: My 600 mile experience (initial service)
probable theory, but i don't think so. For one, the bike was serviced the day before... it sat a day. I've gotten to recognize my bike, how it runs. Definitely smoother now.

My 600 mile experience (initial service)
So, for about the final 100-ish or so miles of my first 600 miles on my new PCX150, I started to notice a distinct "shudder" when I started my bike from a stop. Once I got moving, it was fine, but it was definitely noticeable when starting from a dead stop. Only noticeable if I started eas...

Well, crud. Bikerbitz is out of all their YSS shocks. Looks like I'll wait until next month sometime when their new stock arrives?

Shocks recommendation maybe?
Hi - I have a relatively new 2013 pcx 150. I'm kind of tall and about 235lbs. Love my pcx, but bumps and small potholes jar the hell out if me. Looking for advice... will aftermarket shocks help? Do I replace just the rears or is serious work on the front recommended too? Brand name recommendation? ...

Re: First impressions
If Honda would WAKE UP and pay attention to the US Market, they'd discover that these bikes would sell like hotcakes if they made a seat that wasn't stupidly tipped forward. I love my PCX150, but HATE the seat. I've already tri3ed (still have) an aftermarket flattish seat from Thailand. Big improvem...

Re: When do you fill up your PCX150? (2013)
OK, the info on "how much gas is left" when that last bar is blinking is helpful. First time it happened to me, I panicked and then... yeah, plenty of gas left. So, I think for my own needs, I'll treat the blinking single bar like I do when my minivan does the same thing-- "I'll fill ...

When do you fill up your PCX150? (2013)
So, supposedly the tank of my 2013 PCX holds 1.6 gallons. The digital gas guage seems to run to "empty" (or near empty, "one bar") - and the most I've been able to put int it is 1.1 gallons. So, I have (approx) a whole half gallon of room left, which begs the question, how far do...

Re: Seat customization
I have the same issue. I do have a custom seat from Thailand, but it's still not enough. I still feel like I'm being dumped forward. Grrrrr.

Post humpectomy - ectomy! Required mod on new Powerpcx seat
Well, I have to admit I'm a bit disappointed in my powerbypcx seat. One of the main reasons I ordered it was to save me the time and hassle of doing a seat mod, and so on ...... I specifically ordered the nice flat seat. I assumed, INCORRECTLY it seems, that they totally removed the plastic hump. No...

Re: Most ridden PCX
I've had my PCX 150 for a month. 34 miles. :-( (been too friggin cold so far in Wisconsin) I just sold my Honda CM450, which had the same miles as the PCX of the guy who started this thread (21,500). I had that cycle for *31 years*. OK, admittedly I really haven't ridden it a lot since college, oops...

Re: Switch from sport bike to scooter?
I recently 'upgraded' from an '82 Honda CM450E (cruiser bike) to my PCX 150. While initially the scooter is indeed small, I find it quite nimble and a freaking blast to ride. I wanted something easy- small- light - - quiet - super fuel efficient - and the PCX meets all of that. While a slightly larg...

Re: shipping tume for 'powerbypcx' items?
oh for crying out loud. they mixed my order with a seat they shipped to some guy in france. he got my seat, i got his... they want me to ship my incorrect seat there (france) and they told me they would refund the cost. wtf? uh, no... I asked they provide me a prepaid shipping label... what a cluste...

Re: shipping tume for 'powerbypcx' items?
I can't even USE the seat either..... looks like a 2015 seat. The bracket mount bolts are REAL far apart, the bracket can't mount. Unbelievable.

Re: shipping tume for 'powerbypcx' items?
Well, I got my answer.................................... It arrived today! Ordered on March 30, arrived April 23. So, 3 weeks...... SADLY, they shipped me the totally WRONG seat. I ordered this: http://www.powerbypcx.com/achat-selle-type1-honda-pcx-carbone-coutures-rouges-socle-origine-309880.html ...

Re: shipping tume for 'powerbypcx' items?
I think they have a good reputation on this forum. They are fair and they try to keep you informed about progress on the item that they ship. The problem comes when it is no longer in their country. Then you just have to be patient. That's the part that's killing me. It's a bummer not being able to...

shipping tume for 'powerbypcx' items?
can anyone comment on how long items take to actually ship from powerbypcx (Thailand) to the US?
my seat shipped april. 8, as far as I can tell it has finally left the country (apr 16), but after that tracking has nothing.

Re: My 2013 pcx150 and the 30-year-old bike she's replacing
Funny thing is, it's an exact repeat of history. My original bike (pictured above), was a new 1982 model I got early spring 1984. $999 new. I love a deal :-)

Re: My 2013 pcx150 and the 30-year-old bike she's replacing
Welcome to PCX world. Being a 2013 model, was it ex-demo or such with a few miles on the clock or new, but older version? You seem to be lucky with a PCX that is not too noisy - mine is very loud, but my 2015 125 seems to have a slightly noiser than some people's CVT transmission. Not too bad, but ...

My 2013 pcx150 and the 30-year-old bike she's replacing
Here they are, side by side. Purchased the CM450 on the right in 1984 (it was a new '82). Just over 20,000 miles. I think the first 15K miles were the first few years, when I was in college and it was my ONLY transportation. Since then I've only ridden it casually. Over the years, I decided I now ju...
