K&N Air filter Installation and Performance Analysis

I forget what the insurance calls it exactly, but it's covered for theft and everything, just helps lower the overall rate since they know it won't get used during dec.-feb.

As for the charger, it's a smart one and doesn't constantly trickle.

K&N Air filter Installation and Performance Analysis

Not planning on it, but I'm sure I will at some point. Anyhow, its not insured during the winter, so I can't drive it. Now that I ran some stabil through it, I guess I'll just leave it on the charger and not start it.

K&N Air filter Installation and Performance Analysis

Glad to see folks still driving this late into the year. I went to start mine the other day and the battery was dead. I wanted to run some some stabil through it. I have it plugged in now and she ran rough for 10 seconds, But then smoothed out. I'll just be starting it every 2 weeks or so and let ru...

It's not recommended for the cdi. (common rail injection) engines as the tolerances of the injectors and high pressure pumps like a good quality diesel as it also lubricates the pump as well. bingo these things are upwards of 2000psi and if you clog the injectors you're kinda screwed. VW has been u...

Your talking recycled... The soybean bio that Illinois is shoving down the throats of folks here's crystallizes and clogs newer direct injection systems when it gets cold out. If your talking older school diesel, your probably fine. Newer gasoline motors like in the FJ/Tocoma will yield you the simi...

That's possible too, but the initial cost of purchase, and therefore also the taxes, would be much higher. I don't think I could ever get a Landy, you can't get diesels over here and the gas ones here have left too bad a taste in my mouth. The Toyota FJ Cruiser is really awesome, it has the same ch...

Re: Android or iOS ?

Had an iPhone 4, gave it to the wife and picked up a droid bionic... After 4-6 weeks of unfixable bugs, Verizon bought me another iPhone 4 and I'm Happy again. I have had plenty of android phones and they all ended with software fragmentation, poor support lack of support or just got left in the dus...

Re: What is your cage?

This was when I was into the fast cars: I'm sure it wasn't anywhere near as nimble as allycat's s2000, but with the stage two down pipe exhaust and custom 21psi boosted SW, it rocked... summer or winter. http://i256.photobucket.com/albums/hh199/tbuccini/STI_08_rear_MF_tonemapped.jpg http://i256.phot...

Re: What is your cage?

Dude... Awesome truck... That first pic is amazing. How much does an FJ outfitted like yours cost? I'd imagine it's quite costly... Thanks Maddiedog... Missed all you guys BTW. Glad to see this forum!!! The FJ started out as a Special Edition Trail Teams and I have been modding it pretty aggressive...

Yep. Just got back on from a cross country expedition. This trail was called "Soldiers Pass" IIRC. We took it easy since we were wheeling solo.

What is your cage?

This is what I drive during the winter and adverse conditions. Been concentrating on it since the clubpcx ban.
