But they really don't differ or stand out, they just look like every other blinged up pile of tat.

I love the white rims. White rims are going to be the next mod I do to my bike. I'll probably paint them though, instead of getting new ones. :)
Currently ride: 2011 Honda PCX 125 - Upgraded windshield and seat, keeping this one mostly stock
Previously rides: 2005 V-Strom DL650, 1974 Vespa Ciao, 2011 Honda PCX 170 (tons of mods - takegawa 170cc big bore kit, gears, etc), 1996 Honda Nighthawk 250, 1987 Honda Spree, 2000 KTM 125SX, 2003 Honda Silverwing, 2007 Genuine Buddy 125, 1998 Honda PC800, 2008 Buddy 125 (white), 2008 Buddy 125 (red), 2001 Honda Reflex, 1987 Honda Elite, 1988 Honda Spree, 2007 Yamaha Vino, 2007 Honda Metro, 2x 125cc pure-chinesium dirt bikes

White wheels just show up the dirt and need cleaning much more often.
Had them on my VFR, they were a total pita.

I like the wheel/colour combo, suits it and breaks away from every other stock white looking Pcx.

I think he was making fun of the infrequency at which you clean your bike (which you have alluded to in posts elsewhere). Laugh all you want, but I wash all my bikes at least monthly -- even moreso if they're getting ridden a lot. Our truck and SUV just get washed when they get rained on though.

Ah yes, I bought my PCX to ride, not to clean.
Which reminds me about my failed warranty claim for rusty fork tubes, Honda turned it down because they said my scooter hadn't been washed frequently enough. :(
The dealer told me to write to Honda but I'm not sure if I can be arsed.

Thanks taz. It's Givi D322S...
gn2 wrote:The standard wheels match too.
the standard wheel size is just 1.85 / 14 front, 2.15 / 14 rear.
While the aftermarket (Indonesian made) wheel size is 2.15 / 14 front and 2.5 / 14 Rear.
So with the honda pcx oem tire, it looks wider and I feel more confident when riding.

Agree... that's why, I think, we need to clean our bike more often than regular color.

Looks to me like your confidence is based on your assumption that a wider rim will give you more grip...?
Have you actually confirmed that fitting the oem tyre to a wider rim is safe...?

Does it matter. If he is more confident, then it is better

Is it better if safety is adversely affected?
