I LIKE This seat mod!! What material did you use for the cover? I've seen the 4-way stretch vinyl used.
I'm very interested, as that is what my seat need to be like!!!!

It seems to be a two-way stretch cloth. I have a piece in front of me, and it stretches one way, but not the other way. I will check the Walmart rack and tell you the exact name of the product. I go to Walmart nearly every day because I live across the street from it.

Thanks for your compliments. I can't believe the Harbor Freight duct tape is holding the seat cover on perfectly, I have been riding it a lot, too. Might not need staples after all.

What I like about my modified seat is that I can rise my bun off the seat now when I am expecting a bump in the road. Before with the low seat, I could not do it. Every time I tried to do it, my hand unavoidably twisted the throttle which made standing up dangerous. Now that the seat is higher, I can lift my bun off the seat with no problem, and I no longer twist the throttle in the process.

Thanks a lot!! I'm down for a couple weeks, so, I might be able to do the seat mod.

Here's the material I mentioned above. I saw it used in a video about recovering a motorcycle seat.
It's pricey, but it might be worth it.
