Leaving the United States, how much should I sell my PCX?
The time comes and I am moving out of the United States in the coming month.
For the past 2 years, my PCX served me very well. However, I cannot take it with me and I am planning to sell it.
I was planning to sell it for $2000 USD but seems over-priced.
Now, I am asking for $1500 USD. Do you guys think this price is fair enough?? Or I should make it lower?
My PCX is now around 11000 miles. Have been dropped once and make some scratch on the fenders on the right side.
Change the exhaust to the mugen and the intake both bought from webike.
One last mod is the Malossi var. kit and the belt.

$1500 seems a reasonable price. Personally, I'd list it for 1800 OBO and see what I got...but with the damage and the aftermarket parts, I wouldn't pay that for it myself.

If you need to sell it in a month, stick it on eBay with no reserve.

Re: Leaving the United States, how much should I sell my PCX
If you knew how to take the bike apart you could fix the items that were scratched up due to being dropped and i think you could get the $2,000 you wanted f8r it. The cost of the parts is extremely low. Both of our bikes have been dropped, so i will be fixing ours in the future. The amount of damage on ours, aside from the tall windshields, is almost identical to yours. From the looks of the photos i would say that 3 panels need to be replaced.
Currently own:

Givi tall windshield & tailbox - Lots of extra lights
Custom seat from Thailand - Bad Boy Airhorn
Takegawa Lowering Shocks - Michelin City Grip Tires
Headlight assy upgraded to LEDs w/HS5 main bulbs
NCY variator, drive face, and rollers

"how much should I sell my PCX?"
Very much.
Very much.
2013 PCX 150 [now an ex-bike, soon to be consigned to the bottom line of the sig]
2013 Silver Wing ABS (Black)
1971 BMW R75/5 (White)
Too many ex-bikes to list, and, besides, who really cares what we used to own?

The fee on ebay just too much. If I need to put on eBay, I will just sell it for $1000.gn2 wrote:If you need to sell it in a month, stick it on eBay with no reserve.

I have checked how much is the parts before. I think it cost around $150. However, I don't have a garage and lack of tools to do all the disassemble.Mel46 wrote:If you knew how to take the bike apart you could fix the items that were scratched up due to being dropped and i think you could get the $2,000 you wanted f8r it. If I take it to the dealership, the labor is too high.

Tools cost around $20; you don't need a garage (especially as it appears you're in San Diego!); and the cost of the parts is much less than the hit you'll take selling it with that body damage.
All excuses; it's okay to say you don't want to be bothered doing it.

$1500 is cheap. I'd ask more and entertain offers.

You need to sell, so take the $1000 while you can before it becomes £750

LOL. You got me! I am just afraid I cannot not put it back after I disassemble it.Bash On! wrote:Tools cost around $20; you don't need a garage (especially as it appears you're in San Diego!); and the cost of the parts is much less than the hit you'll take selling it with that body damage.

Originally, I was asking for $2000 but people just saying that is too high and keep offering me $1000 something.
I feel like the modification I did is not valuable for them, and the miles is a bit too high for $2000.
And people here not really fond of getting a scooter. All the people interested in my PCX are asking whether it can go on the freeway.
Just feel that the market of scooter is pretty small in USA.
