Can't see why you would bump it, best to just let it lie and forget about it.

To increase the dataset!

I mean, it's pretty definitive that the top speed is 62, but more data = better R value statistically.
Currently ride: 2011 Honda PCX 125 - Upgraded windshield and seat, keeping this one mostly stock
Previously rides: 2005 V-Strom DL650, 1974 Vespa Ciao, 2011 Honda PCX 170 (tons of mods - takegawa 170cc big bore kit, gears, etc), 1996 Honda Nighthawk 250, 1987 Honda Spree, 2000 KTM 125SX, 2003 Honda Silverwing, 2007 Genuine Buddy 125, 1998 Honda PC800, 2008 Buddy 125 (white), 2008 Buddy 125 (red), 2001 Honda Reflex, 1987 Honda Elite, 1988 Honda Spree, 2007 Yamaha Vino, 2007 Honda Metro, 2x 125cc pure-chinesium dirt bikes

As noted from my video, 61mph with J Costa variator. Stock 57mph with some initial belt wear. Originally did 60mph stock. All per speedo. Dyno states that speedo is 1mph optimistic.

I have hit as high as 65mph using J Costa on the interstate with other cars around. I would like to get video of this eventually. With no other cars around, I only get 61mph as noted before.

OK guys, after much reading I have come to the conclusion that it may not be possible to increase the PCX 125 speed as there seems to be some kind of built in limitation. However, on my 2013 PCX I once topped 77MPH in the early stages (mileage). I now go about 69- 72 (will provide a video soon) with a itcy bitcy throttle left and depending on wind I am still averaging about 110- 115 mpg. Question is, at about 70mph it feels like the bike wants to do more but the rpm just keeps bouncing up and down (like vans with limiters), is it possible to remove that limitation and if so how? I travel 25 miles (About 40min) to and from work on relatively flat road, no hills. The scoot is all stock, NO mods. Any suggestions?????
To be sure of hitting your target, shoot first and whatever you hit call it the target!!!!!!
