My 2013 Pcx with the new bags and camera mount.

Post by Hondapcx »

Got my baby some new gear and real cheap, I love this thing, the gas mileage is unbelievable, I'm 6'00" and 250lbs and I still get an average of 99 miles per gallon. Premium gas only. Started a Honda PCx facebook page if any other PCX lover wants to join also.

Saddle bags from Cycle Gear in Tinley Park for $49.99. These are pretty good, even though there were some bad reviews but they are pretty durable, they easily hold a six pack and other stuff. Love it.

This is actually a Harley style handle bar tool kit from a leather store in Swaporama that I got for $20. Real sturdy and works great, good for keeping packs of cigarettes, glasses, garage opener, and other misc things.

You use premium gas in your scooter? Why? I'm not even sure it matters to it. We run regular unleaded and it does fine.
Currently own:
Red 2013 Honda PCX150

Givi tall windshield & tailbox - Lots of extra lights
Custom seat from Thailand - Bad Boy Airhorn
Takegawa Lowering Shocks - Michelin City Grip Tires
Headlight assy upgraded to LEDs w/HS5 main bulbs
NCY variator, drive face, and rollers

Camera is Panasonic DMC ts3, I use premium just because the dealer said so. Thanks for the input I can use regular too now.

Thanks guys for your inputs much appreciated. I wish there was some sort of a scooter club in Chicago area but there is isn't. Hopefully I will attend some bike nights and meet some scooting people.

Sweet, the camera even matches the bike. How is the vibration with the camera? Is the hold strong enough or do you get quite a bit of shake?

The holder is really some cheap crap from Walmart , it did keep sliding back but I macgyvered it putting some Velcro on the inside so now it's sturdy also wrapped some thick industrial gorilla tape on the handle bar to add fill in some gap. Now it's fine.

There's a pretty good Chicago Ruckus gang that rides with anybody.
Read up here and hit some of these folks up, or just show up at one of their rides:

Or better yet, there is a chitownruckus group on facebook

Too many scoots..... 12 or so I think .
