Hello...and coolant

Post by mollyboss »

Hello all...I have a 2015 pcx 150 I bought about a year ago. I'm trying to do a lot of the maintenance myself (lots of youtube). Any way I'm looking for a replacement coolant to top up. I live in the Toronto area so anyone with knowledge or advice of what might be available in Canada would be greatly appreciated...or should I just stick to the Honda brand. It's not as easy to get.

thx in advance

If you want to be extra sure, you can order a quart of MC Honda coolant on line if you want. Or goto your nearby Honda MC or etc MC dealer and get what they use, it will be a "type 2" with no silicates. If you look at a photo of a Honda MC coolant container, thats what is says. Don't use any coolant with silicates which are abrasive.

Thx for your reply. I'll probably just bite the bullet and use the Honda stuff.
