Anybody know where '13 speed sensor plug is located?

Post by ScottDR »

Hi all!

I bought a 12 Oclock Labs speedometer adjuster and am hoping to install it soon.

Anyone?

Thank you!

Well, I see in the wiring diagram that there are at least 2 plugs. Anyone know where one can be accessed?

It's located on the rear final reduction gear, just behind the rear shock and under a plastic guard. The arrow in the picture.

Thanks Gil! Is there a matching electrical connector for it at any other point up to the gauges?

I don't think their is another spot on the wiring harness where you could splice it in. If it's like the one on the picture, then you could tuck the water sensitive part of the adjuster at a dryer spot. Probably by the throttle body.

Has a long wiring harness, so you should be able to mount it on a dry spot.

Ok, thanks. Yes it has a pair of matching connectors(in and out) for the sensor.

Cheers!
