See that car coming?
Driver stopped and asked if I was broken down.
Well, my scooter was purring like a precision machine, but he means well, "No, sir, just taking pictures."
*"Of what?!" he said.

Then, here, a hiker walked past and said, "You're as nutty as I am to be out here!"
I laughed, "Yes, Ma'am, I am."

She looked a darn sight warmer than I was.

Keep em coming Fish. It's such a great contrast to the 110f were experiencing here. We no longer believe the sun is yellow, it's red here every day from the bushfires.

I remember a looonnnggg time ago when I went to Australia and New Zealand in December. It was strange to experience summer in December. I guess you get use to it, but most of us think of Christmas and snow together.

...and then there are the brush fires. Much of that is something that happens in the western States (California, Oregon, Washington, Montana), not where I live. Those happen much earlier than Winter here, some getting well beyond control quicker than others. Hats off to the brave fire fighters who go after them in order to protect the lives and property of those in its way.
