My model in concrete is this one: http://www.ebay.es/itm/VOLTIMETRO-DIGIT ... OU:ES:3160 but any other will work equally perfect.
The device is wired and sticked to my 2.1A phone charger, so there is no need to touch the pcx main wires, just open the phone charger and wire the red cable to the front connector and the black one to the lateral one. My voltimeter in conctete had a third cable which is the one that measures the difference of voltage with the black one (ground), this cable needs to be wired with the red one.
It is all hidden in the glove box of the scooter, and it will turn off with the rest of the scooter electrical system.

Low beam lights with stopped engine: 12.4V
Hazard lights and stopped engine: 12.2V
Low beam lights and running engine: 14.5V. This high voltage indicates that the alternator is working perfectly.
High beam reduces in .2 the voltage in stopped or running engine.
Charging my phone (Note 3 at 2A) drops the voltage in .3V
When the scooter is starting its engine, it drops to almost 10V for a few seconds.
Total cost: 5€ and half an hour of work.
