New 2019 Honda PCX 150 owner
Greetings, new member here.
Most guys, for their midlife crisis, get a Harley. Or a Corvette. Maybe a girlfriend. Me, I got a scooter. 2019 PCX 150. This is just for grocery trips, local hardware store, that kind of thing. Tried uploading a photo, even cropped it down, but getting the pixels high/wide message. I'll keep trying, clues appreciated.
Never owned a bike of any kind? Check
Almost wrecked it already ? Check
Enjoying it ? Check
Already want something bigger ? Check
Anyway, just a hello, and look forward to learning some things here.
Actually - first question - is it possible to exceed the weight limit (me + wife) or is that a really bad idea ?
Thanks!

Not sure that getting a scooter to go to the hardware store is a crisis so much as a practicalityChillEDog wrote:Greetings, new member here.

Re: New 2019 Honda PCX 150 owner
Worry not. The Admiral and I totally buried the weight limit for two seasons before we got the Forza. PCX just didn't care. You will want to get good at avoiding road lumps and manhole covers, however.
You THINK that you will only use it for ditzy little errands, but soon you will be looking for another ice cream joint a bit further away - and POOF - a 40 mile jaunt. At 100 MPG, there is very little guilt over wasting dino juice or money.
BTW - please update your profile with a ballpark location. Thanks.

On my scoot, getting there is WAY more than half the fun!

Welcome ChillEDog. Enjoy it.
Would you mind including your location with your profile? It helps us help you. At just a guess, I am assuming you are in the US and Canada, being that it is a 150cc and the type of use you got it for.

Very nice! Did you get ABS or non-ABS? I've only found non-ABS models in my area - seems like the ABS is being delayed a bit.

Have miles of fun on your new scooter. . ..
It's easy to get used to the "twist and go" way of life.

A Beauty!
Welcome aboard our forum(s) glad you joined!
I visited my local dealer a few weeks back and saw your scoot's sibling sitting purdy. I sat myself down and took the grips. Felt good, but needed breaking in. They wouldn't let me! Hmmm....
Anywho, "She's got the Looks!"
Congrats! Ride Safely (oh, and forget the bigger bike (for now)
