My trip odometer button stopped working, it works sometimes now.
It has always been a bit of a stubborn button, as I had to press kind of hard for it too work.
Has anyone else experienced this issue? I'm guessing I'll have to take the panel apart to fix it.

Mine is working fine. Do you have to press yours hard to reset it, or is it staying reset once it has been pushed (ie is it sticking down?). If the former then probably a faulty switch.
To be honest, I mostly just keep my bike on the odometer setting now, and don't worry too much about the trip meter.

I don't know guys, whadda think about this?
Dirty Perhaps?
Is there a way to get a spritz of cleaner under the push-button of your dash lens?
I do not like removing tupperware if I can avoid it.
IF this can work, try using a plastic straw on the can's nozzle
Or
hold the straw and run a drop or two down the outside of it leading to the area to be cleaned. It just might do the magic and Walmart's pricing works too!
Btw, I have a 2015, my trip/odometer button appears to have a removable boot over it. Maybe it comes off via fingernail (or ?) exposing a perimeter to get a straw in? Never did this. Just thinking simple first

I use canned air for a lot of those small areas. You might consider buying a can that has one of those small straws, and then try blowing around the button. It may or may not work, but it wouldn't cost that much to try.

Re: Trip/Odometer button not working..
Mine works OK but I find I need to make sure it makes the change before I release the button. . .it isn't instantaneous. I've got older TV or VCR/DVD remotes with push buttons that don't work anymore though. The whole remote isn't toast. . .just certain buttons. . .so I have to physically push the buttons on the player itself for certain functions. Conversely I've also got an older VCR that has buttons on it that don't respond but the ones on the remote do. . .go figure. . .life is cruel. I think it's just something that wears out after a while. Of course the time my cat spilled my Ginger Ale on the DVD remote didn't help either.

Re: Trip/Odometer button not working..
Up until it stopped working, I had to press quite hard for it to register a button press. I managed to get it too the odometer, so i left it there. I do find the trip meter very handy when taking trips, too keep track of how much range I have left.
WhiteNoise Have you tried the cleaner before? I'll try to remove the rubber cover and see what happens.

Check that whatever cleaner you use is ok with plastics

Indeed, check whatever it is you use, esp on any/all plastics.
Click again on the link above, enlarge photo of can. "Plastic safe."
I have used Radio Shacks version of this spray cleaner on my stereo component's circuit boards. It evaporates almost instantaneously, no wetness remains. I like having it on hand.
