Re: The Forza 300 development timetable?
I'm still waiting to see what the new Forza 300 is like when it's hits my dealer's showroom floor. . .. :D Kawasaki is the only one of the big 4 Japanese marques that doesn't export their scooters to the U.S.. That said I do like what I saw in the link outlined above in the previous response. I can'...

Re: Oil rear end.
I use the Pro Honda HP 4M 10w-40 in the engine and Pro Honda HP 4M 10w-30 in the gears. If I remember correctly the gear oil changes are mandatory every two years.

Re: Headphones
I'm going to play devil's advocate here and say I don't think headphones or helmets with speaker systems for listening to music are a good idea. They are counterproductive to situational awareness IMHO. That said there are certain situations when they are used as communication tools between rider an...

Re: Ford classics on my scooter ride today...
Really?? I thought their Fusion was suppose to be car that got them back on track. It took care of the hybrid needs, the medium family car needs, and the various degrees in between. Ford just had a major recall on the Fusion and some Lincoln model for loose steering wheel bolts that could cause the...

On the rabies/ebola, (yikes)...heed that! Good you warned the rest of them! ;) I heard about the rabies but had no idea about ebola. Damn horrible infectious disease. Thanks for the info! o_O FWIW the bat was removed using a stick and the car has since been washed. I don't think the bat ever knew w...

Re: It Was a Dark Night When. . ..
That's pretty sad. Cute little guy was probably focused on a moth or something and failed to pick up on the oncoming wall. It would have been more of a surprise if it had been your helmet, though - esp if it wasn't full face. I felt kind of bad after. . .nothing I could have done about it though. B...

It Was a Dark Night When. . ..
Just the other night I thought I heard a big bug fly into my car's side mirror area while traveling down a country road. But much to my surprise. . .the next morning I discovered that it wasn't a bug at all.
This adds a whole new meaning to what a "Batmobile" is.

Re: BEAST
If I was going to put British Racing Green anywhere on that PCX it would be the lower right and left covers under the footboards with a white "Honda" decal on them.

I have good results using 87 octane Shell regular (does have Ethanol content) year 'round in my PCX. I occasionally add Startron fuel additive/treatment.

Re: DO you really dislike shifting?
Shifting is fun for me. . .except in bumper to bumper traffic. Then I'm worried about the clutch/oil/engine heating up to damaging levels. Head can warp and clutches can wear out prematurely. . .. The thing I like about scooters at this stage of the game is they just kind of cut to the chase of the ...

Re: Ford classics on my scooter ride today...
A bit of arrogance I think as well in the big 3. :geek: Look how Ford tried to screw Bob Kearns out of getting the credit for the intermittent (blinking eye) windshield wiper. Even the paint jobs on a lot of 1980's Ford trucks would start to peel after a few short years. It happened to me. Wh...

Re: Now that is rude!!
Now that the "Summer People" are in town I get a lot more drivers following way too close for comfort. They don't seem to understand that if I have to brake quickly for some reason they will run me right over. Another chapter in the book "All About Stupid People".

Re: Ford classics on my scooter ride today...
Ah. . .the days when you knew right away what car it was just by it's design. Today it's hard to tell. With all the rounded edges they all look very similar.
Cars had style then. . .maybe not as safe as the ones today but definitely had style.

Same here. I don't see the videos that are supposedly included.

So it's not just me then. . ..
OK.
Hopefully you can still see pictures though. . .like this one?

FWIW I haven't been seeing the videos anymore in the topic replies. Maybe it's just me but it happened right after the security fix. There may be something else going on. I just don't know. Has this happened to anyone else? I've got new equipment and the latest software so I'm thinking that's not th...
