Damaged new drive face when torquing. Is this an issue?
I damaged a couple of the fins on my new NCY drive face when trying to torque the nut down and hold the variator with the holding tool. It looks like I took a chunk out of one of the fins, and gouged up a couple others. What does this piece actually do? Will this damage be an issue? Or am I fine to ...

How to take the dog along?
Has anyone figured out a real and safe solution to take the dog along for a ride? I'd like to scoot to the dog parks, but my dog is about 27lbs and I can't think of any real solution for this.

Kymco Like 150i ABS - Better than PCX or not?
The Kymco Like 150i is priced very well and has a true abs system. Wondering if I should have considered it instead of the PCX. What do you guys think of it? How does it compare to the PCX?

Re: Is it normal for the left brake lever to need more press
Has this extra travel on the rear brake lever appeared just after you had the brakes "flushed"? if not you could try the rear brake adjuster situated left side of rear wheel,it might just be your rear shoes have worn a bit,and the brake needs adjusting. It's seems to have always been ther...

Is it normal for the left brake lever to need more pressure?
It seems like it takes a bit more pressure to activate/feel the brakes with the left lever than the right lever. As in the left lever has to travel further. Is this normal? Both brake lines have just been flushed.

Re: Grab rail - screw stripped. How to remove?
Centerpunch, drill, and easy-out will work. Mel's extractor set might as well - I have one but haven't put it to the test. Same deal though - DO centerpuch the middle before trying any of this "drill it out" stuff. File or grind smooth with a dremel if necessary. Another oddball option is...

Are you in the USA? If not where? It would help us to answer your question(s) if your location was listed in your profile ;) Will you please add that now? Easy directions are below my post to complete yours. My opinion: proper ATGATT for weather conditions/season at all speeds. A fall is a fall. He...

Near gear recommendations (jacket and pants) for city riding
I really won't be doing over 30 or 35mph. Do I really need a $400 motorcycle jacket or should I go for something else? Maybe something slimmer/more lightweight? What does everyone use? Any reccs on pants? Was thinking about just getting some motorcycling jeans.

Re: Low side crash at 10mph. Anything major to worry about?
Thanks for all of the advice everyone, I've been very busy and out of the country, so I haven't really had any time to work on this yet. One other thing I noticed, and maybe i'm crazy, but the handlebars now feel a bit...off. Almost like they are too close to me now or at more of a downward angle. I...

Re: Low side crash at 10mph. Anything major to worry about?
Hi romnation , your damage looks similar to mine. I got slammed onto my right side when I got impacted on the left-front. I'm guessing I was going 20mph-25mph at the time. I took the PCX to the local Honda Powersports dealer and had them do a safety inspection. They said the only non-cosmetic damag...

Grab rail - screw stripped. How to remove?
I've managed to strip this middle screw here under the grab rail cover. How can I remove this and where can I get the correct replacement screw? I've been going at it with an extractor bit set but have made very little progress. Not sure how the screw stripped in the first place. I'm assuming ...

Re: Low side crash at 10mph. Anything major to worry about?
No fuel leaking anywhere? - Nope No damage to the engine or final drive? - Nothing that I can see. No bent handle bar? Levers? - Nope Wheels seem in alignment and no damage to the suspension? The bike performs as it should. I don't notice any difference from what I can see? Front disc brake caliper ...

Was this repairable or considered a safety issue?Cube wrote:My fiancee's low speed low side also bent the fairing stay (internal frame everything attaches to) on her silver wing - if you also did that it could be why things aren't quite lining up toward the top of the bike.

Low side crash at 10mph. Anything major to worry about?
Sorry guys, I gotta add to the list here... So I was making a turn in a park at a very slow speed, around 10mph. I saw a little gravel and slowed down appropriately. What I didn't see is the thick sand under the gravel. As such I crashed while making a turn and slid the right side of the bike. Nothi...

Re: Parking - Should center stand/parking brake always be us
Is there a reason that center stand should be used over side stand on this scooter in particular? Most of the stuff I read on other motorcycle/scooter forums, the general consensus seems to be to use the side stand.

Parking - Should center stand/parking brake always be used?
Should the center stand and parking brake always be used when parallel parking between cars? What provides the most stability for preventing the bike from being knocked over.

Engine randomly died while stopped. (2015 PCX150)
The engine randomly died on me while stopped the other day. It started right back up and sounds and runs fine. Any idea what the issue could be? It didn't happen again for the rest of the ride. I changed the oil maybe 4 rides ago. I verified the levels are fine. The oil is actually a little it highe...
