The UK and Europe got the 2019 125cc version in 2018,pretty sure I've seen the rack to fit listed

Re: 2019 PCX Puig Windshield - Review

Thanks for such a comprehensive post,is the original screen removal very similar to the older models?
What about your speed, any difference? If I do get a taller screen, it will have to be shorter than this one, as I would be looking through it, so your account will save an expensive mistake.

Re: 2019 PCX 150 - Givi Windscreen Question

Has anybody tried the relatively cheap add on wind deflectors, not sure how they attach, looks like a form of clamp on the ones I’ve seen that fix to the existing screen. Might be too small to make a difference, just curious.

What a despicable comment to someone in such a situation. Arrogant as usual and totally uncalled for.

Re: Horn too sensitive - haven't indicated in weeks...

I can use the indicators ok,the horn button is in a different position to all my previous Jap bikes including many Hondas going back to the 70’s,so still have to make a conscious decision when using the horn. Think the OP is more affected because his handlebar muffs make it harder to avoid the horn.

Re: Horn too sensitive - haven't indicated in weeks...

Think you would make your bike illegal, construction and use act etc, I find the horn position completely wrong as well, think in Asia the horn is the major component used perhaps. The only suggestion I can come up with is to obtain a complete switch/handle assembly from another make, if you can find ...

Re: brand new PCX 125, low top speed

I don't think people take into account we are talking about a 125cc,(except Mel),neither does anyone explain whether these speeds are achievable in a normal upright riding position, what sort of wind conditions or inclines. There is the possibility I suppose that Honda make totally variable power out...

Re: brand new PCX 125, low top speed

I think you will see a slight increase in speed as your mileage increases, most notice a difference around the first service. my experience has been that around 105kph/65mph is achievable most days,GPS verified. It does vary according to wind and road conditions quite a bit,so now I just don't bother...

Re: Mysterious Honda paint code reasoning

Mel,be reassured that the PA you are talking about is cloned in many countries, some doctor’s receptionists in this country have been on the same personality removal course. Luckily they are few and far between, don’t you have some sort of ex service associations that could do some of the fighting?

Re: Mysterious Honda paint code reasoning

Mine is the latest model,so don't think the replacement panels are available at the prices you are talking about,so changing the colour would be about the same price as half a brand new bike. Anyway how is your war with the medics going?

Re: Mysterious Honda paint code reasoning

Not quite true Mel,the actual paint colour is different in Europe to that available from the Asian market, the older model plastics are available at the price you have quoted, but if you want a panel or two for the newest model, and you want the colour to match, you have no choice but to pay the exhorbi...

Re: I think I need some opinions on this

It is a trycyclic type? I think, when it didn’t work on my latest bout I also tried Duloxetine, that hasn’t worked either, not a very good advert am I? However,https://www.nhs.uk/medicines/amitriptyline-for-pain/ is probably safer than listening to me. Probably in the US it extremely expensive, highly ...

Re: I think I need some opinions on this

Hi Mel,you have helped so many people including me on this site. As far as I have been told no normal painkiller will help with nerve pain. I have severe Sciatica, and am not looking forward to surgery, however the first bout was about 6 years ago and that was helped by a drug called Amytriptylene in ...

Re: Condensation in the dashboard

I had a look at the parts catalogue for the latest version, doesn’t appear to have separate gasket for the plastic screen,my condensation isn’t bad just a bit hazy in about a quarter of the lower screen. I will mention it if I take it for the 4000 mile service, and that isn’t even definite yet. I have...

Got mine in July 2018, and have condensation as well, only used it once in the rain, but it has been washed! Mine is kept in a granite outbuilding, which can be as damp as the Titanic in the winter, will see what happens when the weather gets warmer.

Re: prices US vs Europe

I’m afraid we are a sitting duck for exorbitant spares prices in the UK,and possibly the whole EU, don’t know who or what is piling on the pennies, somebody is making a mint .
The bits are made in Thailand?,maybe the USA has a low tariff.

Not sure if this will help,if you search bike parts Honda there is a uk site which has parts diagrams for our bike,at least you will see where the clips are.
