Hit a full grown Raccoon mom one night. Killed her directly. I was on a kawasaki Nomad 1600 though.
Would hit rather then brake or swerve.

Very sorry to hear of your wreck. The drunks should pay you for damages to your bike and body.
Hope you heal up soon and recover quickly.
Keep on riding!

Re: Side fenders mounting question
Hey C-Note. Thanks much. I live outside the Champaign-Urbana area. A small town.[/quote] The manual shows the exact spot you are referring to. There's a blown up detail of that area that shown the tab on the body cover with NO fastener thru it, there is however a rubber cone plug thruthe frame direc...

Re: Side fenders mounting question
It's funny. My PCX has a sidestand safety like so many of my bikes have had. My Victory High Ball has neither a side stand (kickstand) safety switch
or a fork lock or a helmet lock.
Safety......safety.....Just ride!

Re: NEW PCX OWNER WITH A ?
Good question. Is this a photo of a bike on the net?
I assume yes.
My guess is that U.S. versions may vary too.
Let's see what folks come up with.

Re: Side fenders mounting question
Hello all. My new PCX 150 is a load of fun to ride. As I'm looking her over I realized that the side fenders along the rear area have a plastic tab sticking down that seems to need a rivet or bolt or press in fastener to attach the fender flair piece to this mating tab below that has a rubber compo...

Re: Side fenders mounting question
thanks for posting that photo PCX-Rider
Looks like your tab is actually stiffer or molded a bit stronger then ours.
So this mounts your side tail blinkers?

Re: For your consideration
I'm not aware of any sub $3500 fuel injected, water cooled, scooters currently available in the USA which can surpass the performance of the PCX150. I agree. Price and fuel economy plus looks made me hedge towards the Honda and not a Yamaha. There is no need to hot rod this scoot unless you just wa...

Re: HandGuard
1970s? Handlebar muffs were in use more than half a century before that. Oh, I'm sure they were but no one was commercially making a set that actually worked or was available in the mid to late 1960's. See www.craigvetter.com for this info. Vetter is very famous and an outstanding guy too. The hist...

Re: HandGuard
Hey, Back on again with issue, i bought these hand guards (Acerbis dual road). but i have issue putting them on. so far i have managed to take the grip and handle end bits which is not that difficult, but i need to take bits inside the handle bar that handle bar end screws into. i am not sure if an...

Re: Side fenders mounting question
on the non USA versions the stud screws onto the rear faired indicators. In the usa version you have different indicators out on stalks so that's why you have a screw hole doing nothing... Taz are you saying this is for indicators? Turn signals? In other countries? Why did they leave these just fla...

Re: routine 2 riders
Weight and comfort. Speed of 55 is max I would say with two. My new PCX 150 is 55 mph max so far and even with my wife. I think we are combined weight at 365. That's a bunch. I hope this bike will run 65 with just me. Not convinced it will. If you are looking at price and mileage of the PCX perhaps ...

Re: Maybe an old question
I can't say for sure but would recommend the PCX 150. I've only had mine for four days and 85 miles however I can't get her up to 65 yet. Perhaps because I weigh in at 234lb's. I would not run this on the interstate. If you plan to do that I would go bigger. Look at Burgman or something perhaps like...

Re: Side fenders mounting question
OK, so this is normal. I find it odd that they would hang this tab down with a hole in it and not connected to anything. As long as it's normal, I'm OK with it. I purchased this from a dealer who always seems to leave stuff off my bikes when I buy them new from them. Figured this was put together by...

Yes it does. I found this also but can't tell if there are suppose to be screws, press ins or what attaching this.
Can you check your bike for me and reply?
Thanks

Do you have a fastener in this plastic tab or do you have the same condition.
