Re: Back to school

Go for it, Paul! I went back at 36 - got my BA (Univ. of Il.) at 36 & MA (S. Il. Univ.) at 37 & even added a couple years of Doctorate study after that. Wouldn't trade the experience for anything!! Best of luck!

Re: New colors for 2016

When I picked up my 2015, the dealer (Honda of the Ozarks - Springfield, MO) said they were expecting the 2016 PCX in late Sept/early Oct. That was tentatively - said it could be a little later or even a little earlier.....and they were expecting both new colors (red & gray here in the States). ...

Re: Just installed new Magazi "Tulip-style" mirrors.......

I adjust them on the fly the exact same way......so easy to fine tune! Also, I use a cover over my PCX and love how the mirror stems can be brought down so low to give me more cover area at the rear of the scoot vs. the stock mirrors "tenting" the cover up higher. Just one more advantage f...

Re: Just installed new Magazi "Tulip-style" mirrors.......

DrewJW - I received your message, but for some reason I'm not allowed to message back or reply (a box came up "too new to use this feature") ....or something like that. Anyway, this is the ad I used to order my mirrors on Ebay....shows they do international shipping.... let me know if this...

Homie - Sitting in Wichita right now....ha! I'll say "Hi!" for ya....... Also, I spent a little time in Chicago - would take the Amtrak up on weekends while at the Univ. of Illinois @ Urbana-Champaign. Actually lived in several places in Il (Champaign, Rantoul, & Carbondale while in Gr...

Re: Just installed new Magazi "Tulip-style" mirrors.......

Homie & you you - I had the dealership adjust the handlebars forward a good amount at delivery after initially sitting on the PCX. I'm 6' & after the adjustment I was able to turn to bars fully left & right without them hitting my knees - ha! Been riding for 2 days now with the new mirro...

Just installed new Magazi "Tulip-style" mirrors.......

After seeing these mirrors a few weeks ago & after seeing them installed on Jge64's thread (his are chrome/black), I got a pair of white/black for my 5 week old white PCX 150. KIWAV International had a couple sets in a warehouse close to my location & it only took 2 days to receive (from Dal...

Re: Just got my new PCX 150.......

Thanks for the comments, guys!! Yep.....helmet law in Nevada. That's ok - had always worn one with my cycles earlier in life & wearing one here in Kansas with my PCX (no helmet law in Kansas). Picked up a relatively inexpensive open-face AFX FX43 for now ($75) - in white, of course - ha! After g...

Just got my new PCX 150.......

Just picked up my "Retirement Present" last Sat. - a new 2015 PCX 150! After riding for a week, I am very pleased with everything about this scoot - solid build, great gas mileage for the first 65 miles I've put on, good handling & a sweet, slick appearance. I'll be moving to Las Vegas...
