Re: Fuel pump recall fail
It took my dealer three tries to get the new pump installed without creating a leak. it's now been more then 2 months and 2000 miles without a leak! Apparently it's VERY crucial not to get any fuel on the new oring before installing the pump. One possible source of fuel is the fuel filter, which nee...

Forza ride...spring rates
I really like my Forza, with the exception of the ride, which seems unduly hard on sharp bumps. Others have complained of the same. The rear springs feel as if they don't give any. I kinda figured some of the problem is that, at about 140 pounds, I don't weigh enough to make the suspension work. The...

Re: Annual oil change vs. maintenance interval schedule
End of season would seem best...gets rid of any contaminates and coats internal engine parts with fresh oil that should reduce corrosion over the long winter months.

Re: GN4 10W-30 or 10W-40
The owners manual and service manual recommend Pro Honda oil HP4M. The "M" stands for molybdenum (moly) which is an additive that increases the "slipperiness" of the oil...good for reducing cam and lifter wear and other engine parts. It's not recommended for motorcycles with wet ...

Re: Please Help Troubleshoot
If you go to the "General" side of this Forza Forum you will find a post referring to a Forza electrical system recall having to do with a problem with the starter relay. Perhaps it may apply to your problem. The recall is for the USA but the problem may apply to all Forzas (plus other Hon...

Re: Rear tire needs replaced
I recently replaced the original Dunlop Scootsmart 140/70-13 rear tire with a Dunlop Scootline SX01 150/70-13. Choose the Dunlop because I thought it would have the same profile as the original Dunlop. Cost was $99.99 from Motorcycle Superstore, including shipping. So far, after maybe 300 miles, I'm...

If you find out why the "Hire" Forza rides better then your, LET US KNOW! My only complaint with my 2014 Forza is that the ride is to hard...unacceptably so over sharp bumps.

Re: Forza NSS300/A
Dumb reply maybe, but do you slide yourself forward to the front of the seat when you come to a stop? It's narrower there and may allow you to put your feet flat on the ground.

Re: Forza 300 Rear brake pads
I'm in process of changing the rear tire on my Forza and at 6500 miles there's approximately 5/32" of pad left on the rear brake. New tire will be a Dunlop SX01 scooter tire, 150/70-13.

Re: Using premium fuel
I believe ethanol has been added to gasoline for 3 reasons: Reduce our dependency on foreign oil; helps farmers (raises price of corn); as an "oxygenate" (something to do with reduced exhaust emissions). Probably up to 10% ethanol is okay for current cars/bikes if they are designed for it,...

Re: Using premium fuel
I use premium in the Forza (and in my 64 Rambler and 2000 Saab) because it doesn't contain ethanol...or so the sticker on the pump claims. Probably the Forza and Saab would be okay with 10% ethanol but not sure about the old Rambler. It irrational I know, but I feel I'm being "nice" to the...

Re: over 40MPH without a screen?
But....I want to gather as much information as I can. The money is not that big a deal. I do want the Honda product, to make the bike as stock as possible (and I see no reason here for the screening of the grips on the bike). I would not be riding in any adverse weather....this is just for fun and ...

Re: New Forza
I need to come to terms quickly though with the lack of free-play in the throttle or there will be a problem. You think about turning it, and you're already moving. But so far, so good. Now if they could just take the cold, rain, and snow out of the forcast... The Forza does have real good throttle...

Re: New Forza
What's the torque number for putting it back on? And I did manage to squeeze my helmet (scorpion EXO ??? XL flip-up) under the seat, but it took some work. Torque is 29 ft.lbs. A large pair of channel-lock pliers should be all you need to turn the preload adjustment. Apply them to the approximately...

Playing a bit My HJC medium flip-front helmet fits in both spots, but "just". The owners manual shows how to position the helmets. At the rear location the helmet needs to face the right side of the scooter...and maybe turned slightly toward the front. I weigh 140 and have the rear spring...

Re: over 40MPH without a screen?
I bought the tall Honda screen when I bought the Forza, so only rode a few miles with the original short screen. The Forza looks "cooler" with the short screen, but I find the blast of wind in the face with it tiring after a short ride. I also added a laminar Lip to the tall screen, which ...

Re: Honda forza 300 fuel pump recall leaks gas after recall
Looks like the dealer finally got the fuel leak cured after changing the fuel pump on my Forza...3rd times the charm I guess. It's been almost a week with no leak showing up. I asked the dealer what they did different this time and he said this time they let the fuel filter, which is attached to the...

Re: Honda forza 300 fuel pump recall leaks gas after recall

Don Ya, those are the Honda numbers. Picked up my scoot today (it was at dealer 12 days for this last...

Re: Honda forza 300 fuel pump recall leaks gas after recall
Got a call from the honda dealer saying my parts are in ,the fuel pump o ring and dust seal after telling me the night before there on back order until mid May , not sure how they got them but I have them now ! Don Is there a part number on the oring you can read? If so,that might lead to a source ...
