Re: Honda forza 300 fuel pump recall leaks gas after recall
Ever since I bought my Forza, I've been somewhat underwhelmed with the guy running the service department where I purchased it. He may be a fine mechanic, but he seemed awfully disorganized. Heck, when I called and asked how much my initial oil change would cost, he didn't know... Gave me a "so...

Re: So I test rode a Forza... question on seating position.
I'm 5'11" and find it pretty comfortable. I rarely use the upper foot position, but it's nice to have as a way to move your knees sometime). The Forza is my first 2-wheeled motorized anything, so I don't have anything else to compare it to.

Re: After pump repairs & PCX valves
Geez... I know I'll have to do it eventually, but all this is making me delay even taking it in to do the recall stuff. However, good point in taking lots of pictures before turning it over. I'd like to say I'd do it while I was at the Honda dealership, but I'm sure that mistrust right off that bat ...

Re: User Names?
An old Dungeons & Dragons character name added with the standard Rush reference (2112). The combo makes it unique enough to where I never run into anyone else using it (why would they?!?). AT least I know if I go sign up for a forum and it says that name's been taken, I have to assume I've been ...

Just got mine a couple days ago... Now I have to wait until I get paid so I can get the first oil change/plug check done at the same time.

Re: ye old rockers post...
Holy crap, HOW did I miss this thread when it starts off with a RUSH song? Obviously (as sendler2112) would know, my username kinda gives away what my favorite band is. I dabbled playing bass back in the 80's since everyone else in high school played guitar. Made it much easier to play in garage ban...

Re: How cold will you ride?
When I decided to get a scooter, the gas savings would essentially be used for the scooter payment (and coming out ahead currently). So yeah... the added lifespan of my car was factored in (I drive them both about equally with around a 30 min drive to work and back).

I'm due for the first scheduled oil change. Hopefully I can just have them do that and the recall stuff (assuming mine's part of that) at the same time.

Re: TILE... security for Scooter - love it!
Just ordered one. Great idea! Certainly worth $25. Funny thing, my finacee got one of these a while back for her car keys. Never seen her use the app to find these beside locally (it churps, so we find them in the house easy enough).

That's exactly the site I went to when putting my Givi tall on. Wish he'd do more updates.

Re: Two 2014 Forzas at my dealer
I don't know... I'm 5'11" and do a 30 minute ride to work every morning (and 30 min home in the afternoon) and I'm perfectly comfortable with the leg space. With that said, I don't really have much to compare it to, so I may have just conditioned myself that "it is what it is". Still,...

Re: Givi Airflow vs Honda Tall Windshield
@ supermattyp: Sorry... I actually already have the smaller screen sold. I honestly was under the impression that the GIVI Airflow (AF1123) was taller when the screen was in its highest position, but everything I can find says that it has a max extension of 71cm (28" - which then can be lowered...

Re: Givi Airflow vs Honda Tall Windshield
Got the GIVI D1123ST in last Friday (ordered from http://www.sporttour.com on Tuesday!). It was pretty easy to instal, mainly due to reading the blog at http://www.myhondaforza.com/ . Anyway... LOVE this screen. I'm 5'11" and I can easily see over the top but can see where I could crouch down a...

Hmmm... Very cool thread. I'm up the road in Chattanooga, but I'd love to go to one of these rally's sometime.

Re: Givi Airflow vs Honda Tall Windshield
Thanks for posting the comparison. I've been looking to get a taller shield and I've been interested in the alternatives to the Honda tall. I'm told I the Honda tall can be delivered to my dealer in a couple days, but after your review, I think I'd like to hold out for the AF1123 or even the GIVI D1...

Re: And there he goes ...
We have a gravel parking lot at my work. The very first day I rode in went fine. When I was leaving, the back tire spun then gripped. Being a very new rider, I was trying to take off a bit too quickly and the bike essentially fell over as it jerked ahead once the tire got traction. I was perfectly f...

That's kinda been what I've been doing. Full-face helmet, jeans, over the heel boots, leather gloves, motorcycle jacket (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00DU0DXHE/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1). It came with a liner that zips in, but I just wear a hoodie underneath for the mornin...
