Oil Change

Today I dropped the oil on my Forza, I did notice the filter that came with the bike was made in the US and the replacement was a Purolater made in France, I saw nothing unusual in the engine oil so all seems good there.
I also changed the final drive oil, it was very dark with a light brown film on the top with a few silver bits of swarf, took about 290ml of oil.
Original filter on the left, new on the right.

If you not going to use oem oil filters, a good choice is Hi-Flo filters as they are used by most of the bike trade in the UK and are TUV approved in Germany. I read a multi oil filter test on the internet and Fram were of really poor quality, with the one they had on test actually breaking up inside.

Hi,
Yes i used HiFlo before, i just thought it strange as i thought these scoots were made in Italy for the European market and since they are one big happy family why would they be using US filters and not french for there OEM filters, Honda filters are £10 and HiFlo about £6, another Euro mystery.
