Engine swap

Can i put a 2016 engine in a 2013 bike
The ECU and wiring harnesses are different between the 2013 and 2016. I haven't heard of that done before, so you'd be a guinea pig as far as I know.
The 2016 has different cosmetics, so there's a good chance there may be minor fitment differences that would make the parts incompatible. I would try to get an engine from another 2013; even the 2015 has a different part number for the wiring harness than the 2013.
