Oil Capacity FORZA 300

In the manual it states to use 1.5 qts oil with a filter. Could it be wrong ?? I changed my oil +Filter added 1.5 qts and never hit the dip stick.. Going to add oil to at least mid dip stick hash mark just wondering if anyone has had this experience ?

1.5 qts (1.4 ltrs) is correct according to the Honda service manual. I wonder if the dip stick has been exchanged for a shorter one at some point?

Have not noticed any issue with the quantity of engine oil but strangely enough today I changed my final drive oil (Transmission oil) ...job held over from my servicing back in Oct/Nov....and that took loads more than the measure given in the service manual...kept looking to see if it was leaking someplace!. Eventually it started to run out the oil check bolt as it should....so I know its full...but don't understand the quantity as per the manual...my Forza appears to have taken a lot more....but job done.
