I don't mind riding in the wet and cold, just not torrential rain and ice/snow

The summer of 2015 was probably our best riding summer together. It was also our last. We rode everywhere. We saw all sorts of things. It will be missed.

It will be missed.
But certainly not forgotten right?
It's always nice to have pics of those riding adventures that still live in our memories.

Winter in Georgia (USA) is like a throw of the dice. Some are so mild that the cherry trees bloom in the middle of it. At other times we get a blizzard and ice storm in March, and the whole city of Atlanta shuts down for 3 days. Last year I didnt even take my sweaters out of storage.
Like I said, throw of the dice. Hard to tell when or if I should take the scooters out of storage.
Heck, we are in the middle of a river flood warning right now, and more rain is predicted.

Ain't it grand? I don't remember the weather being like this as a kid growing up. . . or at least not this bad this often. It really concerns me now every time I see there's been a horrific storm somewhere causing catastrophic damage. The insurance rates are sure to continue going up. And more importantly the strife and personal loss families are suffering is just plain horrible.
I just got through a night with an inch plus of rain and now there's a Wind Advisory for winds gusting into the 50 MPH range. Good times! Not!!!

Last night it was raining during the fireworks. It didn't stop them from setting them off because it was only lightly raining. If you are drunk, like I expect many were, you won't mind the rain.
Considering that we are under a flood watch and a flood warning, a little more rain is nothing to the local drunks. They set off fireworks until 3 am. Ok you idiots, don't complain when dogs start barking. You started it.
That should be the last of the fireworks until summer. I can wait. At least it won't be a swamp then.
