HELD Arctic Glove quick review

Hi all,

Thought i do a quick review on the glove i recently bought.

Was going to get the Alpinestar Polar glove but didnt have my size.

First off this is m first gore tex glove and so far seems to beable to keep my hands very dry, its comfy but look a bit of fell on the handlebars due to the thickness.

The size i got is a slightly tight but he nect size up is bit loose so I'm hoping it stretchs a little soon.

Regards keep my hands warm, its not really keep it warm at all but does prolong the inevitable however in saying so, when i'm in traffic, if i rest my hands on my thighs, the blood which goes back to my hands then slowly warms it up, i think it still suffers from windchill.

All in all, its a pair of gloves, i dont think there any glove out there which will keep your hands warm without heating of some sort. I think I may look into heated grips now as I'm an all weather rider.

Thanks

Over gloves or better, overmits, add an extra waterproof layer and really help. I rode all year round in England for 10 years without needing electrical heating. Get an aftermarket exhaust then you can stop and wrap your hands around it to get them warm!

I have found it is as much a function of the gloves (or any other winter riding wear) to keep the wind out as much as to keep your hands warm. I have some simple insulated leather gloves which are doing a fine job of keeping out the chill.

Just sayin'

Maybe you could look for a closed-toed flip-flop
