Hi folks,

I'm Adrian, I'm in Sydney, Australia and I have a white 2016 PCX150 I purchased new in September. I now have nearly 1,700 ks up.

Been riding for many years and owned many bikes. Current other ride is a 03 SV650N.

I have really enjoyed the PCX and must admit I hardly ride the SV these days. In fact, riding a regular bike seems like hard work now!

I test rode a Yam Tricity 125 when they first came out but didn't like its performance. PCX seems to be the right mix of capacity, weight and styling.

I'll post a few pix once I resize them

Any Sydney members interested in a spin, get in touch.

Cheers,

Ade

Hey Adrian.
I sold my '07 Vee Strom and bought a '16 PCX. I feel exactly the same as you. It's too much work to drive a full sized bike !

Yep, white over black makes for a very nice looking PCX

I dig it too! White's the way to Roll 8)
Welcome aboard the forum(s) and thanx for sharing pix!

Quick question, what was it you didn't like about the Yamaha's Tricity's performance? That one caught my attention awhile back (though it's not available here in the USA). A 155 is now available, correct?

Sorry for the tardy reply. I think in hindsight it was mainly because it was the first scooter I had tried. The low power and CVT (and maybe me riding it like a normal bike and feeding in power rather than belting it) made it feel very gutless to the point where I thought I'd get run over at traffic lights. It handled fine, no different to a normal bike. I found the switchgear a bit bleak - the RH block was an empty unit apart from the start button. Just looked odd. I see one parked where I work most days and I am happy with my choice of the PCX. The 155 might be a better proposition but it still has two front tyres, two sets of brake pads and hoses etc. just seemed a bit complex from a maintenance perspective. Although the valves are probably easier to get to!
